Default Jupiter Difficult to Notice in Night Sky
i live on the western coast of north american in british columbia, and jupiter looks stunning tonight. my friend called me up and actually said "hey man, go check out jupiter, its pretty cool." it is almost the full moon, and jupiter is as close as it will ever be to our planet right about now. you can even see one of its moons by eye!

it certainly looks pretty stunning and i can't wait to have a peek through a telescope. but i was wondering how this affects us astrologically? i do not know a lot about astrology and how planetary bodies affect us, so does anybody have any idea on how this will affect us?

[moderator: just reminding you all to stay with archetypes here and not discuss personal charts, which is not on-topic]

i checked it out through the telescope last night and it was simply awsome to look at. i could see 4 of the moons pretty clearly. i also noticed a star to the right of the moon which seemed odd.

it looked like it would reflect different colors of light of every so often. wish i could of gotten a closer look.

i live on the east coast in new jersey (some one save me - lol)

wouldn't the effect of jupiter being so close manifest itself in slight changes in the earth's natural forces? wouldn't the gravity of a planet that large affect the earth?

it seems like the natural conclusion that it would affect tides, but also the crustal plates and hence earthquakes. any thoughts?

hello

i'm doing a lot of astrology and it's difficult for me not to refer to that kind of synchronicity on this forum especially as all other kinds of syncs are allowed. i now and then do anyway if it connects to the topic discussed.

imo the planets do not "affect" us, they are a reflection; "as above so below", "as within so without" since everything is related and "one". if you look into the mirror you cannot say the mirror made you look the way you do (even if it affects you of course apart from other kinds of synchronicities except for numerology, astrology seems to be the only one that can give the exact time for things to manifest.

jupiter being retrograde as it is now means something both in a personal and mundane chart, you can google some astrologysite up for the meaning.
