Default Does this sound like a synchronicity?
hi everyone. i'm not sure if this will be too off topic but i'll give it a try.

recently i've been thinking about trading in my car and getting a new, smaller one with better fuel economy (can't imagine why !?!). i finally decided on the make/model.

now, the day i'd made a firm decision and would start the ball rolling, i've had a big verbal altercation with a council worker who accused me of being impatient at roadworks (i simply misunderstood where i was supposed to drive), followed 15 minutes later by a rear end collision. the driver in front of me suddenly stopped (quite inexplicably) as we were turning at an intersection. it all happened in that split second you take your eyes off the road to check for oncoming traffic. so i ran up the back of her. and wouldn't you know it? the very car i ran into is the exact same model i was about to buy!

so i'm trying to derive some meaning from this but i'm not really sure what the message is, if any. anyone got any ideas? i certainly wasn't expecting any dramas before my trade-in, but this will be a spanner in the works.

thanks everyone!
best wishes
luke

wow luke! smashingly synchronistic!

as to what it means, well, i don't know. you mentioned a verbal altercation with a council worker. that is certainly a set-up for synchronistic negative instant karma. i work as a chef, and i know that when i get frustrated in the kitchen, for whatever reason, i become more prone to accidents and screwing up whatever i'm cooking.

the other thing that comes straight to my mind is to use the synchronicity in a very practical way - while it is a hint potentially of a higher order it may just want you to ask one thing - how did the other car, the model you were thinking of buying, hold up to the crash?

maybe it was a message from the cosmic consumer reports magazine division!

best of luck to you with both replacing your vehicle and plumbing the synchronic depths!

love, blessings, and abundance,

frank-o

what about a zenn car? zero emissions no noise? they are electric cars, so you can go to long distance, but as for fuel economy, you can't go wrong...that is what i have my eye on for sure.

definatly a sinc in my opinion too by the way.....

thanks for your replies everyone. i have decided that i must be being told to give the idea away, or that perhaps the type of car i crashed into is not for me. i don't really need to change my car, but there are some little things about it that are a pain and they can be rectified once i get it repaired soon.

love and light to all!

hi luke, i would like to ask you if lmb are the initials of your name, and if 71 is your year of birth (i explain myself….. ) because i use lmb3 as my signature (email and etc) because these are my name’s initials… and the day of my birth – oh and if this is your case also, it would be very funny because 71+3 = 74 – the year of my birth…
i hesitated on asking because this is not interesting or important at all…. but it will be so funny to see that these kinds of synchronicities are happening, in a thread that you named: does this sound like a synchronicity?
it amuses me a lot… anyway

hi lala,

yes, lmb are my initials and i was born in 1971. i use this as my user name on some other websites too (or a similar variation), but i also use lumabi25, which is the first two letters of my three names plus the day of my birthday.

take care
