Default self service to others!
what can we do, and how should we do it?
if this is the ultimate goal to reach unity instead of separation.
what are you doing to make this place better?

i myself have been concentrating on having thoughts of a world where you no longer have to equate your actions with monetary reward. i think it would be healthy for a discussion of what a world like that would be like.

self service to others is at the top of the pyramid, when you look at maslow's hierarchy of needs. now we just have to make that work for everyone.

basic shelter for everyone
food for everyone
your job classified for what you like to do, not what you need to do to earn a living.
free health care for everyone

we have based our society on need and put the monetary system at the center of it as the driving factor. imagine waking up tomorrow and not having to worry about how you were going to pay your bills. imagine being able to concentrate on the world around you and be happy doing that.

i can hear someone reading this saying " right , what are you smokin buddy?"
but i really think that if we are going to evolve, that we have to stop and ask a really serious question. what is money? money is just a physical representation of reward. we need to change the world. the reward should be a feeling of self accomplishment. so for all of you who are reading this: create a think tank that will discuss the concept of *how could the world operate if the monetary system was removed from the equation?*

i think the simplest way to make the world a better place is to make a decision when you have a choice, and choose the one that seems to benefit the most people without sacrificing yourself in the process.

lead by example, be the change you want to see, think globally act locally etc.

treat others as you wish to be treated, all the things you already know, but actually do them.

create things, grow things, appreciate things.

bad things that happen to you are tests for you to measure your karmic growth by so deal with the bad times and don't lose your positive nature!

i wonder this too.

what i have been doing is to serve others is...

1) take care of my children
2) speak my truth when given the opportunity
3) make people think in plato like style (they all already know, just have to make them realize they know) :d
4) help my father when i can
5) be an example to others, though i am not perfect.

sometimes i feel like it's not enough, but i do what i can...
