someone left these insightful words on my myspace a while ago:
do you know what you would die for? loved ones? home? country? faith? liberty? love? determine what you will die for, and you will have identified what you should live for. live for the few things you'd die for and you will be fully alive! you will also have learned something about how to be happy. one other thing i'd like to add is this: if we were all to see today, to gain insight, into an awareness, a sense of knowing that all is one, how would this change things for us? how would it change the way we live our lives? what would oneness do? |

somebody elsewhere asked me to define "oneness", so this was my reply:
______________________________________________ a part of each other; made of the same stuff (essence inside us all), yet at the same time separate. therefore, to hurt another would be to hurt a part of ourselves. _______________________________________________ just a thought, an example: martin luther king's words were so powerful, due to his intentions being so pure.....that many years after his bodily death- his words, the profound truth and wisdom of his being, continue to move and inspire people..... helping them reach higher awareness and insight into life and its meaning. we are one; we are separate but we are simultaneously interconnected, inseparable. to heal another is to heal a part of us. |
