i always wondered why the truth is sometimes the last thing we want to here?, why it sort of spoils the fun at times?, why it is dreaded on both sides of duality? maybe it's because it spells an end to the mysteries, or because it justifies/falsifies beliefs, sometimes rendering free will obsolete.

i think when a truth "hurts' it is an opportunity to get to know our true selves again.....to put another piece in the puzzle of who we are as a person, and i think it hurts, because it is an opportunity to keep the beautiful painting we have loved for so long, or make adjustments to that painting.....either way it will be a beutiful peice of art, but sometimes even a change for the better is closing one door even though the new door is bigger and better. there is allways a sense of loss until we are then comfortable with the new level we have found. once we have spent some time in our new jeans, they are less tight and constricting, and like garth said about his underwear (waynes world), they eventually will be so comfortable they feel like a part of you. so don't worry, the more you wear your new jeans, the better they will fit.

wow! what a question! maybe i don't understand what you're asking, but why would anyone ever not accept truth as their first option??
![]() truth is relative. maybe you're asking 'why don't we' perhaps you mean the the government or something, because they are actually not willing to accept the truth on several subjects. i think the reason for this is that they are unwilling to discuss anything they don't control completely. ...do we need to put aside free will in order to make room for intuition... i don't see why they would be mutually exclusive. i think it's more likely that intuition would enhance free will, in that it would give you more options. |
