i was recently invited to a channeling session for tomorrow but deferred it to the next occasion and thought i'd post it for feedback from you wonderful people/other selves.
one concern i had is that she offered a lot of advice or information without regard for my need of it. the biggest concern i have is she wouldn't identify who she was channeling and she had never heard of the law of one, orion, ra, confederation or anything else. when i asked her who she was channelling, this was her reply: "i actually don't refer to my work as channeling but rather as transmissions of sacred fire, which are the precipitation of god, light, life, for the purification, the alchemy and transmutation, and for the realization of our ascension, whereby the soul returns to the one. i work with the creative force of the universe and source with the assistance of who i lovingly refer to as the 'upper management' and hierarchy of light." anyone have experience or impressions to share? namaste |

hi, and welcome!
no one likes to be pressed with unsolicited advice. do you feel as though you are being pressured to accept viewpoints you'd rather not entertain, or feel this channeler makes you fearful of not heeding their advice? i'd ask myself these questions if it were me; in your case, maybe they're just trying to be helpful - being a channeler doesn't necessarily give you good people skills! as for not being able/willing to offer the identity of an entity being channeled..well, this channeler describes that being channeled as 'upper management and heirarchy of light', and may not feel the need to anthropomorphize that which is being channeled, by individualizing and naming. personally, i would go with my intuition, in general, and again ask myself if i felt good about what was being offered. the vast majority of channelers produce their material through the distorting lens of their own personality matrix, so it's often a blended co-production, the sum of product of which you expose to your own native matrix of discrimination...just how does it sit with you? if it feels good and seems to give you a boost in your personal becoming, then go for it. otherwise, move on - it comes down to your own intuitive feel. blessings, mark |

having waited for a response for over a day, i must say the wait was well worth it. i'm very grateful that you took the time to respond and for such clear and savvy advice. you're absolutely right about going with my gut so to speak. i've ince been reading carla rueckerts work and she stated that one of the traps a channellor should always avoid is offering insight without it being requested. the vagueness of what entity she was channelling still begs the question of why the channel herself wouldn't want to challenge, but your response in that does give credit to her as well.
thank you from heart to heart |

the best thing you can do, is to go by how you feel. as mark said, if it feels good then go for it. many times we have a tendency to kinda deify the entity coming thru, but remember they are on their own journey, just as we are on ours, and they don't know everything, but they do have a unique perspective, and sometimes they can help you see things differently.
another thing about people who receive counseling from channelers, is that i've noticed that sometimes if the channeler gets something wrong, they are immediately discredited for everything they say. remember they are not infallible, and don't expect them to get every single detail correct, altho that could happen. but if it doesn't, just take that which resonates with you, and leave the rest. it helps to have a small tape recorder with you to record the session, because many times if you are trying to formulate the next question you may understand all the nuances the channeller is attempting to convey. best of luck! ~manny |

hi!
this is something i've been tampering with since i've been brainwashed by a false guru. i would actually recommend a book by [e-mail for author, title, and publisher] this book has helped me when noone close to me or therapist would understand what i've been experiencing. she tells her lifestory and spiritual searching and all the traps she fell into. the book ends with a list how to detect the false sts-ones and the good sto-ones. recommende in these times of "false prophets" popping up everywhere. may love and wisdom light up our path liliane |

thanks supermanny & transitien. i wasn't sure if i was experiencing fear because of the lack of knowledge or if at the time i was going through informaiton overload and i some red flags that perhpas should not have been.
given my inexperience with channelling i'm best to opt out at this point until my comfort zone is improved in this regard. i think the book you suggested sounds just like what i need transiten. am an avid reader, so please do email me. this place is so full of wonderful people, i am grateful that you share your experience and knowledge. thank you & hugs |
