i think it's pretty amazing that you got to experience such an event. what makes it more interesting or cooler is the fact that someone else on another forum has posted that they have been dreaming about earthquakes recently- so i found that pretty awesome and just thought i should let you know. :}

wow. there definitely could be something to it, though some of it could be (and i stress could, as a major earthquake is possible) fears of the unconscious that many people are picking up on these days. you and your wife seem to have a pretty deep connection with each other psychically, probably more than you know.
i think these dreams represent our darkest fears about the future of ourselves, eachother and the world. all i can say is that there's a "war" going on of sorts to imbalance and disturb people, to make them act out in erratic and ungrounded ways, and to ultimately, shut ourselves off from the heart as we drown ourselves in torrents of fear. this is waged both on a physical and psychic level.
the reason why i say this is that as of late, i've been experiencing this both externally and internally within end-of-the-world nightmare-scenarios . ironically enough though, the "dreams" i've had in the past are providing me with additional tools and a greater insight into the choice we have as polarizing individuals to embrace fear or love, and are in some cases, directly related pre-cognitively.
anyways, so last night i had a dream where this energy vortex appeared in the middle of a city...a column of bright, swirling energy that was tearing apart all in its path. however, instead of people running away, they willingly jumped into it "to get it over with". it was pretty horrifying to say the least.
but then the dream progressed. all i can remember is being in a cottage as it was gently raining outside and i told myself "that wasn't the end."
a couple of weeks ago i had a dream where the earth was burning up.."normal" temperatures were around 42c degrees. there was no escape from the searing heat and people were only walking around at night...but strangely enough, i remember walking around during the daytime looking for water and i passed a flower-shop that was still opened. i didn't go into it, but the symbolism of that is so powerfully moving, that beauty can always be found no matter how dire the circumstances are.
then i had this "vision" of the moon as i found a bottle of water at a convenience store. i was given the impression they were sending select people there as "humanity's last hope", but then i saw some entities conducting this operation (or possibly what these people would turn into) and they resembled the ghouls from stargate...with white skin and white hair. i couldn't imagine how utterly hopeless this all had become and that it was way too, pardon my language, f***ed up for me to swallow.
so your dream, in my opinion, is probably true, yet based on what i've been sensing and seeing, it's also to test your reaction to it as an additional catalyst for your spiritual evolution. a consuming obsession will lead one down dark roads, but getting that emergency kit is nonetheless a good idea if it allows you to put that fear to rest.
just be aware there are many ways in which 4d negative beings operate, but when grounded in love and discernment, nothing can truly shake your eternal foundations.
