i don't see any reason to worry, and indeed, by looking too deeply for some metaphysical threat you could simply be working yourself into paranoia.

it is odd that the two went off simultaneously, but it could be explained non-spiritually by some kind of local em wave perhaps. of course, where it would have come from, i can't pretend to know.

or if you want to explore it metaphysically, it might be a message from your own self (try to remember what you were thinking or dreaming about right before they went off) or, if any negatives were involved, it might just be an attempt to move you closer to paranoid thoughts.

the best thing to do is relax, remember that god always holds as close as you let him, and keep radiating light. yes, everything has meaning, but our judgment of that meaning often falls short, so don't let yourself get worked up over it.

hi and peace to all!

a weird and frightening thing happened to me last night, and i'm still trying to figure out the meaning ... any help would be much appreciated!

so, i'm in my bed, sleeping between my two young kids (my husband was out of town on business), when i was startled awake by both the house alarm and smoke detector going off. i quickly checked the house, but there was definitely no fire - or anything else that could have set off the alarm. the alarm had to be shut off from the central because i didn't even have a code to disarm it(i've never even used the thing!), and i had to cut the wire to the smoke detector to get it to shut off. now, i can understand why a smoke detector would ring in the case of smoke, but why would this also trigger my house alarm when the alarm wasn't even set? and why would it go off when there was nothing to trip it? the alarm guy's opinion was that the smoke detector was faulty and that's was caused it.

i can understand that from a physical perspective, but not from a metaphysical one. i mean, to me there are no accidents and everything has meaning. was this a 'negative greeting'? just before bed last night i did the visualization of the whole room bathed in white light, and me and my children surrounded in protective violet light - which i hadn't done in months. i had also asked to receive guidance from my higher self regarding my purpose on this planet at this time. before bed, i had been reading a lot of info last night on the web, from david, and also from a source he cited re: the illuminati.

i'm usually pretty good at interpreting things for their symbolic meaning, but i'm a bit at a loss this time around. my friend's take on it was that it was me that set it off, with my own energy field - perhaps from an obe or something .... i'm not so sure. was this a negative greeting? was it a 'warning' to wake me up because i was being psychically attacked?

this terrified me last night , and i'm started to get a little worried about going to sleep tonight .... !!!
