has anyone else noticed the intermittent ability to visualize clearly in three dimensions? i have had this three, maybe four times by now, usually brought on by deep relaxation, whether from fatigue, meditation, or [a natural supplement to overcome insomnia and obesity].
it's nice. definitely a good motivation to meditate more regularly than i do. the last time it hit me, i was in the hairdressers, and they have this cave-like room where they shampoo you and massage your scalp. it was so comfortable i almost fell asleep in the chair! anyway, i noticed the state and decided to use it by querying myself for whatever imagery would make me the most happy. i expected a scene of myself with friends or beautiful women, but instead i saw almost a portrait photo of my dad, thin and healthy, standing behind my mom and hugging her. and i realized that i was right. that did make me really happy. (they would never do this in real life as they are divorced and really really don't like each other) so anyway, if you do experience this state from now on, remember that you can ask it questions! hope this is useful to somebody. |

hey john,
interesting experience you are describing here.... i'm curious to hear more, if you care to share, about what characterizes this phenomenon of thinking in 3d for you. also, i am personally quite moved by your description of the image that came to you when you enquired what would make you happy. i wonder: given the visible signs of convergence and emergence into 4d in our solar system ("interplanetary climate change"), and given the seemingly endless discoveries pouring out of contemporary research in physics, biology and science that point to exciting emergenc-ies pointing to the possible reality of planetary ascention -- would it make sense for us to consider creating a section of this forum to house our experiences of personal emergenc-ies and possible breakthrough into 4d awareness/living? if it were up to me, i would love there to be such a section ("personal emergence"?), alongside a section devoted to the sharing of dreams ("dreamshare"?). i imagine these spaces as being places where folks would feel welcome to post with a healthy sense of both freedom and uncertainty, a space in which we could check in with each other about the signs of emergence as we go through them, and learn to navigate the times for what they are. specifically, by creating a place where our personal experiences in these contexts are explicitly welcomed, i wonder if we might help open the possibility for 4d emergence itself along as well, in the spirit of cosmic co-evolution, or some such thing.... fiz |

quick p.s. --
i realized upon posting my last above that we currently already have a sticky for sharing dreams, which is wonderful. i would just like to gently add my own suggestion that we might consider adding a whole forum section, to facilitate storing many dreams that could each have their own title and thread of feedback. same goes with my suggestion for such a space for sharing our experience of our individual breakthroughs and emergence-ies -- i think a whole section devoted to this kind of thing could help act as a positive attractor for folks to make our experiences known, and, similarly, to have the chance for easy reference and full feedback. how's that familiar adage go... "if you build it, they will...ascend" ? fiz |

describe it... hard to do. imagine the difference between watching television in 2 dimensions and seeing real life in 3. also, when i visualize something normally, it takes quite a bit of effort to keep the things on the right (for example) from going fuzzy and washing out when i'm concentrating on the things on the left. or background and foreground or whatever. the point is, nothing stays put once i take my attention off it. when i'm in this state, images/things are more permanent and tend to "obey" better.
also i noticed that our faithful admin replaced the name of the supplement i sometimes use with a description instead of the name. that's cool. i imagine the site can't be advocating the use of any particular supplements for legal reasons. just want to point out to everybody that i do not take it for obesity. besos |
