these are some thoughts i just wrote, i wanted to share:
it doesn't matter what people believe, though what they believe will manifest itself on another level, after they die, like a computer program we've forgotten how to control............???! a computer program we've forgotten how to control?!!! gods in amnesia we are the dream-makers, and not the dream.... this dimension is the nightmare fantasy of science-fiction- of technology becoming aware and turning against its creators for dominion???? (the matrix). well then maybe it does matter what people believe? |

just remember, it is not that we've forgotten how to control, but rather chose to forget. yes, the world is a a matrix, if you like, of various beliefs and distortions. the net effect of those distortions is what you see going on around you, the various interpersonal relationships on a personal and mass scale all in various stages of service to self and service to others.
i've noticed that it seems the world seems to be going to hell in a hand basket. it almost seems to me that people are struggling to resolve issues or get in experiences before 2012. they seem to be becoming even more polarized one way or the other. the distortions are either being dissolved, or reinforced. belief systems are breaking down in those who want to serve others, in those who want to serve themselves, the need is to reinforce belief systems. things are speeding up, time appears to be going faster but in the end it is our experiences that are coming faster and faster. the belief systems are there for learning, not some shroud to dilute us or make us unaware so that others can control us. the 'matrix' archetype is more one of becoming aware than it is of power and oppression. it is about the awakening, don't focus on the distortions you became aware of, focus on the awakening. in the end, neo ends up having to force a truce between the machines and the humans. in the end, free will had even gone so far as to remove power from the machines (mr smith) and so there was a need to cooperate for the common good, rather than the good of one or another. in the end, the awakening is part of another distortion. it is a path of its own and necessary. in the end, i believe that we all choose our positions and situations in life. we choose where we are born, the people we will meet, and some of the situations we will experience. there is free will, but the path we have chosen before this life time will play out, everything is as it should be. we are gods, not with a little g but the big g. we are gods who have chosen to live a life that at times appears far more difficult, distorted, crazy, hectic and we chose it well. our glory is that we chose the path of greatest potential change, the one of distortions, of forgetting our connection to(as) god and thus every one else. now it's time for god to awaken, though only a little, so that he can continue his growth through our experiences. feel the great peace and love of gods perfect plan, focus on that as you become aware of the matrix. there is great joy in the awakening. there is also much more i want to say but i'll stop here for the sake of brevity, i look forward to the time i can speak with something much more truthful than the distortion of words. peace and love. |

(not the album, but our "doors" of perception!) love. |

really wonderful replies, thank you both. your remark about the doors of perception sent me back a few years. from the wikipedia the doors of perception is a 1954 book by aldous huxley detailing his experiences when taking mescaline. this short book is considered to be one of the most profound studies of the effects of mind-expanding drugs and what they teach about how the mind works. the title comes from william blake's the marriage of heaven and hell: "if the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite. for man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through narrow chinks of his cavern." [snip] i was struggling away in boulder at the university of colorado, being sidetracked from my assigned studies by trying to find answers in all the wrong places. at the time i was infatuated by huxley's books and his idea of a chemical shortcut, as presented in doors of perception, seemed the answer...so i decided to give it the old college try. even though i was a navy veteran i was still so damn innocent and naive that i actually went to a drug store to buy some of this here amazing mescalin stuff. i got a clue that something was not quite right when the friendly clerk suggested to me in a whisper that i find a student of biochemistry to help me out. and, hey, what did "not over-the-counter" mean?? i finally wised up and closed that particular door! concerning your wish for better communications, telepathy, etc. is one that will come true for you ... and for all of us. eventually. i don't want to divert you from reading the wondrous material on hand right here, but there is a wilcock reccomended book that can tell you more about what you are so casually longing for. it is "we the arcturians" by dr. norma milanovich. according to their spokesperson the arcturians are considered by galactic experts in the subject to have the most successful 5th density social memory complex civilization going. such a high validation might just be true. starting at chapter 4 the arcturian communicator starts with the basics of communication being used at our familiar, pathetic a level -- then goes on and on, way, way past z into utterly alien territory. he/she/it discusses the problems involved with a whole planetary of people all logged on to a telepathic cosmic internet. 3der's are absolutely not ready to handle that tsunami of subtle complexities! we must travel there by following the yellow brick road using carefully placed baby steps ... attempted shortcuts will only find us short-changed -- or even worse, dumped into the lap of the wicked you know who! okay, you win! i'm done writ out! much telepathic love and such to all, billybushed :d |

ewhaz, i'll have to watch that film properly, thank you for filling me in on what happened; it's very meaningful. it's hard to catch everything, there are a ton of archetypes in that movie. neo not only becomes aware of the true nature of reality, as well as the oppression of the human race, but also of his connection to the machines as well. he loses his normal sight and gains another more powerful form of perception. in the end the machines realize they need neo, and thus are forced into a truce with the humans because their creation got out of control.
if you look closely, you can see the analogy to this world and how things are happening. we are all like neo, awakening and becoming aware. the system is getting out of control, even for those who created it and they need our influence to balance the system again. we are here to remove their negativity, and we can only do that when we focus on the good we can do. when we first awaken, we become aware of the power structure looming over our heads. we have the feelings of fear and hopelessness, apprehension and suspicion. every thing is suspect and nothing can be trusted any more. however, the one thing that that system wants is for you to either a) be ingnorant of it, or b) be afraid of it. fear paralyzes you and takes away your power. if you look deeper into the system, thats when you see that our true nature is above even the looming power system, and we have as much power to influence the system as they do. i've been feeling a lot of feelings of 'revolution' type emotion. i'm getting tired of seeing the system hurt me and others. that catalyst will help me and others make the changes we need to move forward towards a new dimension of unconditional love and light. you'll get there as soon as you become tired of being afraid and see the power of your true nature. have faith in yourself! you are god! |
