hi all...happy 7/7/7! the closer we get to first contact, the more articles and mainstream exposure we will be noticing. this is a timid start, but it is a step in the right direction....getting the discussion lifted to mainstream levels highlighting highly reputable individuals' personal experiences with ufos. the official debunking just is not going to fly anymore...jo anne

(july 6) -- it's an age-old question: are we alone in the universe?

as the documentary "out of the blue" rightly points out, brilliant and reputable scientists believe that the conditions for intelligent life exist on thousands of planets. but then there's that other question that separates the scientists from the believers, the witnesses from the skeptics - if aliens are out there, have they come to visit?

i think we need to examine what first contact might mean. are we talking ufos landing on the white house lawn? i think that image and idea has been pounded into our heads for too long: "i'll believe it when i see them land on the white house lawn." most of us were born into this type of sentiment. but quite frankly, the last place i would want first contact to occur would be on that guy's lawn. and in hope that contact would be with a more advanced civilization than ours, i would expect that they too would avoid the white house lawn (capitals left out on purpose [double entendre purposeful as well]) and perhaps opt to appear over an area with the highest population density in the world. how about mexico city? and indeed, that is where flotillas hundreds strong have been filmed flying through the skies, and witnessed by thousands of people who, interestingly enough, are of a culture far more resonant with the concept of "other" life, be it et or angel.

back on june 12th i got a photo of a dark disc when trying to assert my free-will choice that chemtrails abate in their effect upon myself, family, and the populace in general. it is archived on [email for url], issue #260, unknown object photographed over talent, or.

on june 30th i noticed something unusual about, again the chemtrails, and decided to take a picture. this time a sphere showed up in the photo. once again i submitted it to [email for url] and as of today it is on their front page as unidentified object photographed over talent oregon. details for each are provided on the site.

point is, first contact is in process, and very delicately indeed. but this is not something that is coming primarily through any official channels. it is very personal because it involves the individual being able to assume responsibility for their own perceptions, to become their own expert, instead of relying upon any other's perceptions or words. and that is not the government. that is us.

and the more of us that open to contact, the more intimate the contact is likely to become.

disclosure, however, is entirely another matter. any debate over first contact is truly moot. the question is, can enough of those souls in-the-know begin to speak their truths? once enough light shines those who prefer the dark will have to slink away or be revealed. either way, then perhaps we may illuminate our next level of "truth", and become able to allow the ongoing contact to draw closer.

and, as always, we should accept or reject the positive/negative greeting that may come with the discernment of a loving heart that knows all entities are of the same source.
