Default 13 Moon Calendar / Tzolkin
hey all -

have another question for ya. earlier in my studies i ran across the 13-moon calendar. i won't go into detail as information is easy to find. however, the ultimate "purpose" of the calendar is to synchronize humanity...

i have not made the "switch" to this calendar, only dabbled in meaning, etc. i've felt that before i could "synchronize" with others, i'd have to ultimately discover my "true self" - i'm still in that process and learning more and more through meditation and related "exercises"

i was curious what other people know/think about this as a "tool" for "synchronization" over the next years - advantages/disadvantages.

the same goes for the 260-day tzolkin - how/should this be used as a tool?

appreciate any feedback you may have. :d

hello art,

i personally believe "time" per say is an illusion that we choose to create for our purposes while in a physical manifestation form. spiritual beings having a "human experience"

i feel that the mayans use of the calendar is more align with the universe far more than the "modern calendar" by far

in my personal "knowing" of my previous "incarnation" and from doing actual research on my "family tree" i can trace my "roots" back to the modern day maya.

i do not "need" to wear a watch for i always seem to "know" the time whether there is a clock around or not.

i am not sure what you are saying, regarding "synchronicity" with regards to humanity however.

namaste,
tim

thanks for the reply. the "synchronization" had mostly to due with "getting people in tune with universal time, and hence, with each other." however, the material had some weird "undertone" to it that didn't quite sit right with me, which is why i sought info... to be honest, i'd have to review the material and make another long post for an proper description...

i like your comment about "knowing" what time is and that time itself is an illusion. although slowly, i am coming to this understanding. we feel the illusory nature of time during our lives - ever notice that "time flies" when you are enjoying something, and "time drags" when you are "bored" or uniterested. so, yes, i do believe it is possible to "manipulate our perception".

you are lucky to have a

"personal "knowing" of my previous "incarnation" and from doing actual research on my "family tree" i can trace my "roots" back to the modern day maya."

if you don't mind, could you share how you came about this?

anyone else reading the thread, i guess what i was looking for was whether some of you were using these tools. from the initial response, it seems like the answer would be "no" and that i shouldn't put much focus on them...

thanks!

art,

while one can make use of moon calendars, solar calendars, other calendars, tarot, and important astrological events in their natal and transit charts, i believe we already have the tools we need to access more. it is all within you. the astrology is inside you...embedded into your intuition and also reflected in the stars. you already have access to the best tool...yourself. it's just we didn't come with an instruction manual. when you start to be the observer more in your life and live in your now time, you get to see the fuller picture of what your life is and where you are headed. look within. no tools required.

love your life and have fun!

art-

charron pretty much "nailed" it. i cannot offer "instructions" per say.

it would be nearly impossible for me to go into details on how i came to this moment. i suppose that is why i am documenting all of this for the possibility of a book, we shall see.

basically; i do hold an interest in astrology and that is where it began. then i moved into spirituality and just became more aware of things and that is when i choose to let spirit or my soul aspect of who i am guide me.

oh yes, there is reading however; i went through that stage and i found that i am knowing what is already out there. with the exception of my discovering david through a good friend of mine. in other words, i am finding this site to be at a level that i am at/ currently at the moment. it is kind of like going through school and moving from elementary/ next to middle/ then high school/ college, etc. i hope this offers some clarity

what i am attempting to convey is that i believe the soul (mine for certain) is on a journey to "remember" who i am and hence forth the journey is to "know" or aka. remember. this is true for my journey as i can only speak for self on this because, each of us, within the collective (oneness) has a very unique and personalized journey.

i have come to "be aware" and just live in the moment and the answers have always been, it is just being in "synchronicity" to it all. does this mean i am at 100%? yeah right!

such as; being a spiritual being having a "human experience"

my best advice is to follow your being! you will know if something is "true" to you and that is what and only matters! not what i or anyone else says. if it "rings" true then it is so, if not, then continue!

we are all on a journey,

it is when you become aware of this journey is when one notices the "miracles" that occur moment to moment. follow your heart!

once you are attuned to yourself then all begins to fall into place at the moment when you choose it to be!

namaste,
tim

ahh yes. everything you and charran have written "resonates" with my "way" of thinking... or, rather "being". my reason for asking so many different questions, etc., is not to educate myself, but to offer "tidbits" or "leads" for those about to begin their own journeys. i can only offer information from my own experiences. as people around me yearn to "awaken" and begin this "process", i want to "be there for them". during these times, "sleepers" will gravitate toward "beacons of light". knowing what we do, and experiencing life the way we do, we have the responsibility "to show the way" to others who ask.

i had to "make my way" through the sea of information that is out there, which ultimately led me here. eventually i learned to look within, instead of out. and, speaking for myself, to "get to the next step", i have to "lead" or "teach" others. it is written that you only learn through teaching.

it is at these times where i am "unsure" about what to tell others. words are inadequate to describe past experiences, and lately, everyday life for me. for me, exponential growth isn't a concept, lately its my reality. like everyone, i have daily obstacles to overcome, but lately it has been easier to "get back to my base" and "live in light of love". maybe thats good enough...

you nailed it about "reading". quite a bit of the "material" out there seems familiar, like i learned it along time ago, but haven't used it, and thus, forgot. so, as you "put" it, i'm not learning, i'm remembering. yes. everyone's journey is unique to their personality and perspective. and, as "material" is concerned, people should "go with their hearts".

so, i guess the moral of the story would be that i don't have to have the perfect answers, and its likely better that they "find out for themselves". in order to satisfy my purpose above, all i need to do is "show them the door", and not necessarily "instruct them how to walk through it" - they can do that on their own. just be there to offer help along the way.

i thank you both from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to reply and offer "advice". and, to those out there cruising the forums, if you aren't already, open up and post. ask questions, share experiences. give advice. we're all in this together and we're here in this forum to help each other. you'll feel much more "whole" and breakthroughs are waiting just around the corner.
