i got my hard drive back yesterday.
it wasn't "formatted".
all of the files on it had simply disappeared.
my computer tech could not come up with any explanation.
i believe it may have been a "negative greeting".
i'm still trying not to be frustrated.
i'll try to download "the science of peace" again and see what happens.

i downloaded david's "science of peace" lectures and music a couple of weeks ago.
for reasons of storage space, i downloaded all files to an external disc drive.
on the same evening, i made a cd of his first lecture and the first music cd.
after listening to them in my car, i returned to my computer to make cds of the next lecture and the rest of the music a couple of days later.
i could not access my external disc drive anymore.
it would appear that it had somehow became formatted since my last access to it.
if so, not only have i lost david's materials (which i have been reluctant to attempt to download again in view of this event) but i also lost hundreds of family pictures which were stored on the same drive and not elsewhere.
after reading david's recent blog about "negative greetings", i'm trying not to be frustrated.
the drive is currently out for reclamation/repair but initial indications are that it is indeed now blank.
just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar "negative greeting" after seeking out the "science of peace".
i won't be deterred.
