Default Spontaneous, Wide Awake, Involuntary Projection
Hello, I have two questions:
Years ago, in the Service, while standing at counter, working, I had an involuntary, spontaneous projection such that a greyed double of me formed to my left, there was a click in my ears, I became conscious in the greyed form looking back at the physical me, had several very clear thoughts about seeing a 'second me', then that click occurred again, and I was back in my physical. I have never been able to find anyone else who has had this type of awake experience, so I am posting here, in hope that someone can explain it or someone has had this same experience? And now, years later, I have begun to have spinning dreams where I can feel very strong sensations of spinning, but I don't know what to do next. Is this a lucid dream or an OOBE about to happen ? And how might I use this sensation to astral travel ? I have sent away for "Astral Dynamics" book, but it won't be arriving for a few weeks. With thanks,
Blue

Hi again Blue.
I had a similar experience years ago, before I learned to induce projections, and I can trace it to a 'cause'- I had begun to read a specific book that was very 'consciousness expanding', and at the same time had had an extremely stressful/traumatizing experience that had resolved well. At the time it happened I was having an enjoyable time with my baby (he's thirteen now), sitting playing in the floor with him. All of a sudden I found myself staring at myself playing with him from the ceiling. This lasted less than a second- almost instantaneous.
I never connected this with projection or Kundalini (another big word, lol) but it was what you could call a 'peak' experience.
I guess I would ask you, had you had extreme pressure on the days before this, or was it a 'regular' time up to that moment?

And now, years later, I have begun to have spinning dreams where I can feel very strong sensations of spinning, but I don't know what to do next. Is this a lucid dream or an OOBE about to happen ? I would call it a precursor to some type of projection, from the dreamstate.
And how might I use this sensation to astral travel ? 'go' with it, try to come up with a technique to amplify the movement. For more 'concrete' exit techniques, the OBE Research forum (right next to this one) has some stickied 'technique' type topics to help you. Or just wait for your AD to arrive, but I recommend you start reading the tutorials now, to get you familiarized with the terminology.

Good Morning CFTraveler,
Thankyou ! You are the first person to ever tell me they've had this happen to them while awake!

"I never connected this with projection or Kundalini (another big word, lol) but it was what you could call a 'peak' experience.

Yes, a life changing peak experience. For me also. In fact, I was left with the single message that we don't die, we can exist in other worlds. There simply is no death. Prior to this experience I had no thought or knowledge of OOBE, or psychic issues, etc. After it, my life changed completely.

Re: extreme pressure in days before..... no, not at all. I cannot account for it but have come to believe it was some sort of experience, maybe caused by Higher Self, designed to move me out of the path I was going, to a higher path. I know that sounds feeble, but it feels right to me, and it is exactly what happened.

I'll read the tutorials as you suggested, thankyou, as well as train myself to do reality checks in case these spinning dreams are LD incidents. Whatever comes of it.... here we grow again

I'm also trying to find others who have had a similar experience. For many years, I've been all over looking for someone, anyone who can share my experience.

My experience happened while I was driving home one summer afternoon. I was a teenager then who was just enjoying the sunny day with the windows rolled down. I was happy when this event occurred.

Without any warning, I was teleported into the emotion, which felt like the eternal energy of Peace(a dandelion yellow area) which is the culmination of Love and Joy. I was without body, but my consciousness and soul existed for I was able to "see", feel and eventually think. Peace radiated through me (feeding me) with such force that I was scared wittless at first by its magnitude and purity. I was at the "mercy" of Peace which felt like a drug for I was unable to reason or deflect it. I could only feel for my thoughts felt sluggish as if it was coming into me so fast that I couldn't keep up with it and it took awhile to get the hang of being "nourished" by it. It was like my mind/soul was glued in place. Overwhelming it was for it fed me as it passed through me and it went on and on. Time does not exist there, but I tried to measure it in terms of the length of fear I felt, then it was the realization that this place was my true home, then I began to struggle against it as my thinking power returned and almost felt like a prisoner in a state of ecstasy, then I saw a montage of my life flash in my consciosness without emotional attachment to my experiences, then I worried about my body and was sent down through many planes/layers of what I don't know for the fall was fast. And my consciousness was screaming "Nooooooooooo!" until I was back in my body, at the very place in time and space where I left.

For quite some time I've been trying to figure out where I was and why I was there. What does the experience mean in terms of my soul, especially back in Earthbound reality? I'll tell you the reasons I worried about my body because A) I couldn't sense or "see" anyone else B)the feeling of Peace was initially unyielding almost like I was being force fed and strongholded in place C) I left my body in my running vehicle up on top of some railroad tracks.

the day after my first OOBE I was sitting on my couch and had a spontaneous projection, it was very odd. From the perspective of my projected double the atmosphere seemed ... different, almost like watching my life through water or glass. It was very odd. This was during a time when my consciousness was being expanded and my world was turned upside down. After my first OOBE the night before I was having a hard time focusing, and having a hard time doing really anything even eating and sleeping (This lasted a few days). I kept thinking "I can't believe this! This changes everything!!" so it was a HUGE shock to my system.

Having a tough first few days I went and met with my pastor, he told me that when he was a young boy he had a OOBE as well. He fell into a swimming pool and almost drowned, he was standing at the edge of the pool watching his body sink to the bottom of the pool. I told him that I couldn't fit my experience into my religion and I was afraid I was breaking God's rules by doing this. He helped me put my mind at ease.

Sorry for the babbling! I'm quite tired so my typing skills aren't very sharp right now!

After all these years have passed, I still do feel that this spontaenous projection was the experience I needed that had enough impact to move me to thinking on higher things, to go in another direction or path. But I must admit I have read an explanation of spontaneous projections being a "loose etheric body". What makes it loose, the article never said. Just recently I was experimenting with the breathing technique that Samual Sagan teaches in his Third Eye Meditation course, and after about 5 minutes, there was an incredible pulling feeling.... as if something was pulling a force field (etheric body?) from me. The sensation seemed like many different pulls were being done at once, or maybe better said, as if there were 3 or 4 people pulling my energy (?) body. To stop it, I simply opened my eyes, bringing the meditation to a close. ( If Third Eye Meditation appeals to you, they have a site called Clairvision. ) I have done the Third Eye Meditation since this experience, but have not felt that pulling sensation again.
