Default The Buzzing in My Ears...
Yeah...so..after about 9-10 months of trying to project...I had something of an experience I suppose...I've read on these forums about a few people this has happened to and Ive read about it in Mr.Bruce's books...Ok...I went through my usual routine... Light some incense..Relax..relax..relax...Breathing techiques..clear my mind..stimulate energy...feel the heaviness of the trance....then the swinging/swaying sensation, which I assume is the energy body loosening described in the books..this point, is where I usually get to...it all started in my head early on..I'd feel as if a ping-pong ball of energy was bouncing around the inside my head..then it began to feel like the ball was passing out of my head..left, right, forward, back, up and down...then it occured to me that I must be exteriorizing body awareness...so, to cut to the chase, this sensation of bouncing in my head grew to a massive swinging sensation...its like a feeling-memory, or something, from my childhood, when Id swing on this tire swing with like a 40ft rope..The arc of the swing was SOOOO long and exhilarating, Ill never forget that...but I havent rode that swing in proly 15 years...yet, when I close my eyes and relax and concentrate, I literally feel that swinging sensation , with my mind...not in my mind...SO, im swinging back and forth, totally zoned out and in the moment when I decided I wanted to flip instead of swing...previously this hadnt worked, as I could only bring on the swing motion alone...but this time, it just worked and I felt like I was in space, weightless and flipping very fast, over and over. This feeling was almost nauseating, but it just felt so cool that I enjoyed it....BUT heres the turning point...I was laying there...enjoying this new sensation...when I guess I mustve tranced out too hard for a second..Maybe I fell asleep for a second but Im not sure...there was a certain break in my stream of conciousness..a very short one though...THEN...My conciousness snapped back to. I was aware. Just like I am now, typing this huge paragraph...but there was this absolutely intense, real, tangible BUZZING in my head, in my journal entry that I wrote rite after, I described as sounding like I had a swarm of bees in my head...almost electric-ish. I observed this new experience from in my mind, for prolly about 30 seconds to a minute...then I guess I assumed if I opened my eyes this buzzing would stop...but when I opened my eyes and tried to sit up, I felt myself rise up above myself....I tried to see but my sight was like when I first wake up, very fuzzy..it was like I was looking into a fog lit by candlelight. All I knew at that moment was that I was concious, aware, buzzing and hovering above myself...that was a fact, during that moment. Once I realized what was happening and started to process it, I guess I freaked out and wanted to sit up in my physical body...so I could go smoke a cigarette and try to make sense of wat happened (I know, I need to quit.). I tried to move my arm, but at first I was paralyzed...oh...my old friend/enemy, sleep paralysis...but then after a second, I guess everything got realigned and I was able to sit up...with a huge gasp of air...then, I got up and ran to my mastering astral projection book and wrote down wat happened immediatly! I am not certain about alot of things in this world...but I AM CERTAIN this really happened to me. Now, that being established...Im hoping Mr.Bruce...or anybody else..will explain to me exactly wat happened, wat I shoudve done, how common this is and tell me how close I was to escaping this body for a little while and destroying my fear of death...I apologize for the length of this, but to me, this could be leading up to a turning point in my life, and I need specifics on where to go from here..I hope to hear from you soon.

You separated freaked out and snapped back in. The buzzing was separation vibrations, and the next time this happens, 'go' with the waves if you get them, and if they don't, try an exit technique or two.
