It's been a while, I am happy to be here again

Has anyone here had any success or done any experimentation with intentionally meeting another person in the astral? I have worked with this on and off over the past few years and have not had success exactly, but it looks like I may have found a really good partner to work with now. So far I am seeding a powerful intention and visualizing the person, but I'm not sure if we should try getting more specific with a place or time. I saw somewhere that both people visualizing a specific room can help... So I invite any and all ideas, comments, suggestions, warnings, experiences.. whatevah you got.

My only idea is to discover an area of mutual interest (hobbies, etc.) and then talk extensively with the other person about the object/area, and then resolve to meet there. I wouldn't set a specific date, but I would agree to a period of time- say, a week or even a month, and then both of you try.

Bruce Moen had some success for a while with this. He wrote about it either in his first or second book and called it "partnered exploration."

I used to work with a partner magically, and in trance sessions we created a space to meet. We focused on leaving symbols/sigils carved in a tree that the other would find when they visited, or other items of note (ie. if I knew she liked a rose, I would leave an energetic 'rose' at our site for her to find.) We did not tell each other that these were, in order to keep clear when we would check in with one another what we came upon.

This could be interesting to do astrally, and also there is then not such emphasis on time management - connecting through these energetic links could build a connection, which may naturally lead to meeting up there. Love to hear how it goes for you!

Thank you for your suggestions! I just found a forum On Moen's website on the partnered explorations topic.. it looks like a lot of those folks are discussing finding loved ones that have passed on, but I will post there to see if anybody is experimenting with the living

I think that picking an area of mutual interest is a good plan.. as it turns out we both share a great love for the ocean (I know, who doesn't..) so it should be really easy to visualize this. It seems that we are sharing mental visions together, so I would imagine that this would support our efforts. We will keep the window of time open as well, trying for a specific time would probably over-complicate things, and I still don't know how time works there anyway... And I REALLY love the idea of leaving little markers or symbols, I hadn't considered this before.. As it turns out, we seem to have a pretty powerful psychic connection already (although I have never met this person physically), we are somehow managing to activate each others chakras and share thoughts, so SURELY we can establish a connection in the astral. That is if the astral planes still exist But I wonder if maybe you might be onto something Red.. maybe we need to build the conduit first in order for the astral connection to be made. Oddly enough, the last time I was active on here 3 years ago, I was working on teleportation and trying to do this exact same thing, but the person I was working with was not.. proper So I let it go. I will definitely post any experiences I have here, I did this the last time too and I think it helped keep me focused.
