Hello Friends

When you experience astral sight and you look at your body, what do you see?

When I've been out of body, I've usually seen the astral dimension (the dimension where we dream). It never dawned on me to turn around or anything to look at my body.

I'm never even in the same plain as my body... Unless you count what ever body/forum I am in there.

I wish I could answer your question, but I have never been out of my body. Only time I ever looked at myself was in the mirror, and I was wide awake them. The only knowledge I have is from books, and people report that they just see their bodies, lying peacefully there. And when you experience this for the first time, it is quite shocking.

I was able to look at my hands twice.

First time i looked at my hands they were very weird looking. My fingers were long and thin and boney.

The second time i looked at my hands they looked like my real hands but they started to fade away after a few seconds. I would have to look away and then look back at my hands for them to reappear and fade away again.

I had once an experience with that.

I call it seeing through my third eye and it was after some meditation I did which I could not believe that it worked so amazingly.

I was light blue skinned and around my body ran dark purple neon tubes whith violet energy pulsating through it and I had to laugh as I seemed to be one of those blue-skinned 'gods' that they have in India.
I heard, but never confirmed, that one of their gods, shiva or something is being portrayed with dark ribbons around her. That are the dark purple tubes I saw where the energy was going through.

Never did it again as I confirmed the meditation worked and for me it is a 'been there, done that, continue life' but I still remember the experience and sometimes think about it and laugh at how life can play tricks with us.

Fogged, thank you. The remarks you make are appreciated. I find that many make claims of extraordinary knowledge, through experience, then they are the quickest to put anothers remarks under the flood light of ridicule. The latter is done of course in a manner less defining as to the word ridicule illustrates. With this said, where might one go?

If a person or group of people talk about things they don't understand, they should be careful when diminishing the imaginations of others. I use thoughts, feelings, emotions, in relation to memories. My impulse is desire. I understand desire. The latter is easy to understand. It arrives upon me from a loftier plane. I may even allow lower desire to impell me forward. A Jivanmukta. The latter is simply a Sanskrit term. A word. A Fire of a most high quality, in intensity and beauty.

I go on. It is a thing I do only to be giving Art to others. Be safe and remember friends are near you.

Hello Friends

I had one partial OOBE or a false awakening, where I was stretching my legs up in the air for some reason, then woke up and noticed that I could not have moved my legs from out of the blankets without waking up. That time my legs look exactly like they do when I am awake, except a little pale.

To me, the most undeniable OOBE, I have had, where there was no question in my mind that I was out, I floated into the kitchen, and while there, I moved my arm through the faucet just to see what would happen. My arm looked exactly like it does when I am awake, except a little pale. When I floated back to bed, I saw my shape on the bed, but I was too frazzled to take a closer look at it.

During a brief OOBE, I became aware that I was floating above the body, and that I was extending an arm out to pull down some paper that were taped to a door. The door was some 5 meters away. The arm looked like it was made of transparent Jell-o and it had some squiggly movement inside of it. When I could not pull down the papers, I decided to find out what I look like out of the body. I was a little surprised to see my arm like that. Unfortunately, the plan was to float over to a mirror and to experiment over there, to find what I look like, and if I can change my apparence. Instead, this woman appeared at the foot of the bed. She acted like a zombie, or, as if there were no one home, let's say. I didn't think she looked like me at all. Then, I got so frustrated about not being in RLZ. I decided that since my thoughts seemed to be affecting the environment too much, that it was just a dream, so I gave up and fell asleep. I have been kicking myself for doing that. It would have been a great opportunity to experiment with lucidity. At the very least, I should have tried to communicate with this woman.

So.. I don't really know what I look like out of the body. But, I'm curious to find out. The next time I get the chance, I will think that I want to be in front of the bathroom mirror instead of thinking that I want to see what I look like. I hope that might work out better.
