Hey Gang,
I wanted to very quickly share my experiences from the past few months and hopefully someone can help me. I have had experiences 10 times, all of which start the same way: I try a technique (to no avail) and go to sleep. I wake up in the vibrational state, i plan what i'm going to do/test, and i float out. When i'm out, my vision is cloudy and i can't move well, both of which are common to beginners, so i've read. However, my concern is the dream material within my experience. I've tried techniques such as checking the clock twice, to see if i'm dreaming, and signs point to yes (the clock is not the right time when i awake, strange things that should not be in my room, etc...) My question is, i read in Astral Dynamics that it is common to dream about having an OBE, and this concerned me that i might be dreaming instead of having true experiences; has anyone had a similar experience? Is this a barrier i have to break through for my mind to allow me to see things the way they truly are? Is there something i can do to clear this dream material and carry out a true astral experience? Thank you for you time in reading this, and i would greatly appreciate any information or experiences!! |

If you are waking up to vibes, then chances are that you are having genuine OBEs. However, your subconscious is shaping what you see to a large extent, and that is probably because you are waking up from sleep, putting you in a brainstate closer to delta than to theta, most probably.
I'd say don't worry, eventually you'll get an RTZ projection. |

Hi Smythe
I agree with CFTraveler. Those experiences are mostly likely OBEs. Personally I hardly ever dream about floating about inside my house. And if my experience is preceded by vibrations, even mild vibrations, I am assured that it is an actual OBE. For clarity of mind and of sight try vocalizing an affirmation next time you believe yourself to be out of body. The affirmations "Clarity Now !" and "Sight Now" are used by many people usually with good results. Good luck & Regards ![]() Grey |
