Default Does the astral body glitter like stars?
I had an experience once, where I was falling back into a deep sleep, and I fell into a lucid dream. But this lucid dream was extremely vivid, and I could see my sleeping parents in this lucid dream, with the exception they were standing up in the lucid dream and glittered like stars. My sleeping brother, to the left of the lucid dream, looked more like he would be made of electricity (for lack of a better word) with the way he looked in the lucid dream.

Needless to say, it was obvious they were all dreaming at the time, with basically no awareness of this or what I was seeing.

Some have reported the astral being starlike and the astral body doing the same. I have seen beings that seem to glitter, but I identified them with guides or angels. I guess it depends on who you ask.

One of my few experiences I was mostly stuck in my body, but my arms and legs were out... and I couldn't help but describe them as "shimmering" or "sparkling".
Perhaps I'm a vampire! LoL

... sorry, bad Twilight reference.

Well, the next one may be interesting (Full Moon), but I won't give any spoilers.

i'm currently reading HANDS OF LIGHT, A Guide to Healing through the Human Energy Field. by BARBARA ANN BRENNAN.
on page 49 she describes the Etheric Body as "like a sparkling web of light beams".(similar to the lines on a tv screen)
usually coloured light blue/blue-ish white/grey, it has the same structure as the physical body, including all the anatomical parts and organs.

the book is highly detailed, and is yielding much deeper information concerning the human energy field than any i've come across so far...

The body definitely has points of light that are scattered that would match that description, though I haven't seen any glitter/changing in intensity. That sight is still developing.

If the "As above, so below" saying is to be taken as truth, then man is really has within him all that exists in some form or another, just as everything else contains the whole also. What rivers and stars run through the universe so too are mirrored in the human body(s).

The astral body can and sometimes does appear to glitter like Edward in Twilight. I feel that the vibration of the viewer and the projector alter the appearance , the focus and the perception . When a person is in love with another and they are tuned in well then the full beauty of the astral body may be percieved. One clairvoyant wrote that people in love shone like stars with white lotus blossoms in their aura blooming around them in the net of indra. That same one , forgive me I forgot the author , said that a mother holding her baby appeared like pink stars with roses blooming around both of them .

For two days now I've awoken to 'seeing star fields', something that hadn't happened in a long time. However, this morning there was more detail, so I'll go ahead and launch into it:
I was having a dream, and was waking up from it, when I 'tuned into' a vision screen. ATM I can't remember what it was, (patterns of some sort, maybe writing on some blocks). Then, I felt a 'coming closer' of my astral vision (or refocusing, if you will) and here I was looking at my 'usual' field of stars. Then someone woke me, and I resisted, and kept my eyes closed. I tried to go back into the field, but wasn't going anywhere (just seeing my usual pink eyelid-field) so I decided to go back into the dream. As I thought of the dream, I started to drift into it, and then 'retreated' and went back into the screen (blocks with designs, like writing) and then as I retreated the 'sight' (or focus) I could resolve into the star field or into the vision screen. I played with this for a little while until someone woke me again, finally. Then it all went to pink, and I completely woke up.

Which makes me think that the vision screen is somehow connected to 'astral sight' resolution or focus, and makes me wonder what this is- focusing on my own 'astral body', or is it the opposite- is the 'astral body' concept a construct designed to explain the 'astral field' that is seen when going out of body?

Could you elaborate please ? Are you postulating that the astral body may be what we see as we project but it might not exist for others to see or something else ??

Honestly, I'm not sure what it means. It's just that this was the first time I could switch from vision screen to star field by 'feeling myself' closer or farther like the focusing of a lens- which reminded me of this thread.
