So far I've had about 3 ( minor ) OBE experiences, that I can remember, in the last couple of years. I think I posted about the first two in this forum somewhere a while back. Around about a week ago I fell off to sleep one night and a short time later this black tunnel with swirling white [edit: I just got the feeling that maybe there were other colours as well ] stars just appeared all around me and I began to go through this tunnel. I remember feeling somewhat excited with the experience because it was similar to a drawing that someone did relating to this type of experience. I don't know why, but I started to panic because the thought occurred that I could actually be dying. As soon as that thought left my mind I felt a snapping sensation pulling me back and then I woke up. It was over very quickly but it's certainly left me wondering what this actually was. I get the feeling that I was about to have an OBE experience and the tunnel was the exiting effect.

My experience was not as vivid as yours, but the first time I tried the Hemisync Focus 10 tape I felt like my "vision" turn into a tunnel. It started to speed past, and there was a feeling of lifting of being sucked up. IIRC there were some other effects. I panicked and aborted.

This did not match your visual experience - no stars, no details, just a definite change in my inner vision - but the general sensations - the feeling of movement and the feeling of being sucked upward seem to match.

Since I had this experience just when I intended to have an OBE, I'd say you were "on your way".

Interesting . Well it all happened so fast but I can remember it seemingly appearing out of nowhere and it was swirling quite quickly.

I've been having some third eye experiences this past year, at least it's what I think they are. I wake up quite often being able to see the room around me before I even open my eyes. It's clear and bright but it begins to fade away, somehow when I concentrate I can bring it back but after a couple of minutes I loose this ability completely. Something seems to be activating this on waking and I don't know why, but I'm very interested in discussing this too. What has happened on occasion is that I wake and before I open my eyes I can see myself sat up in the bed on my laptop ( 1st person of course ). It could just be a memory surfacing but it's happened on a few occasions now.

Lastly, I had a dream a few weeks ago after I had plenty to drink on a night out. What happened was that I was dreaming of all kinds of things both good and bad, but I could see this white anomaly moving from the front-center of my mind towards me. It was like a white triangle ( base side top and tip at the bottom ) and it was happening in intermittent bursts - I also think that there was a white haze on the outside of my vision as well.

I have practiced some of Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics exercises in the past in order to have a projection and I remember reading in to energy work but I can't recall doing any as such. I've had premonitions that have come to pass and they came to me in dreams years before they happened. The strange thing is, at the time I went through the events shown in the premonitions I had forgot about them but weeks or months go by and then I remember dreaming about what had happened years before. These two had the white haze around the outside of my vision, but there was no anomaly like the one I described above - which is a recent thing.

Awakening clairvoyance - wow, that's amazing if it is but in a way it's scary. I've read about the pineal gland and it's relation to the third eye a while ago. If it really is true ( which I get the feeling it is ) then the main questions are - what happens next ? where do I go from here ?

You can do energy work (all over) and add to your practice stuff like retaining images in your mind, and other stuff (color manipulation) if you want directions. I usually don't advocate energy work directly on the brow chakra (I know lots of people do, but I think it's better to work on your energy body as a whole, then move on to lower chakras, and go up from there. So if you're interested in developing this ability (or refining it) these are the ideas I'd go with.

It was March 2007. So this was just a strange night for me. I had just moved in with my sister and her husband, they had a back patio made of concrete, level none the boot. SO i went out onto one of the courners of the patio and sat down. started the normal breathing excersise to endouce vibration state.My sister came out and talk to me i didnt catch what she said becuase I had this thought in my head suddenly that i was looking up hill at her like the patio was lower by a foot at least. she asured me no it was not, but was level. Not really paying attention i got up and presedend back indoors and sat on the couch. we then started to watch a movie but what I noticed was that there was missing area's of info like digital black area's while the movie played, at one point I looked at my brother in law and he looked as if his whole body was boiling and bubleing, finding this very strange I told my sister brother and law and yes their girlfriend that I was going to go have a cigerete on the front porch... As I stood there looking over The reno night sky, I came to a clear thought. Me living in america sigh, This thought came " What the goverment doesnt want you to know is that ALl is possible you can do all things"
SO then with that in mind i started breathing harder to increase my bodies rate, Going thru the ideas in my mind I ran across one that unlocked my self from my body. I can be 6,15,4. That is a simple code just for saftey reasons. Suddenly i sat down dropped my smoke my lolly pop yes i had a loly pop and pulled out my head phones I was listening to metric, All of a sudden all these lights apeared in the sky the begain to dance in there own way almost like UFO's ID geusse at 40 or 50 of them and this song of an unkown amount of people Where singing a song about LOVE and how thats all it takes, all of the lights in the sky then swirled into one and a tunnel opend up in front of me and i walked with a white and gold colored being on my left side and a black on my right side we walked down the tunnel. I then rember a flood of memories and feelings iamges of people that i have since meet when i moved here to. Images of what i can only conceive as Alpha to Omega, Just as suddenly I was then over my sisters naborhood looking over my self I then was standing infront of my self looking at me on the porch, I then saw the three of them come out and check on me with a scared worried look on there face. my sister then came over and put her and on my shoulder at that moment i then was suddenly back in my body Id say 2 seconds later my sisters hand was on my shoulder I looked back and they had that same look sudden instant feeling of de-javu. I relized I could here tons of Dogs barking they told me that the dogs had been barking the whole time they thought it had something to do with me. After sleeping that night my sister woke me up with a scared look on her face SHe had me go to the back patio. THe Patio is now slanted to where i sat that night soon after they asked me to move out. Turns out My brother in law was sick with heart problems and didnt know it, wich I think explained why he looked that way yet the other two did not. Since then other amazing things have happend.

I think the feeling of dying is associated with projections to afterlife realms in this case . One thing to consider is that you might have been projecting to afterlife realms to visit deceased there. I have done that and it begins in a similar fashion on occasions.

I have recalled dreams of meeting people after they've past over but no recollection of the tunnel in those cases. Maybe I just don't recall. When my gran lost her partner a few years ago I had a dream where I met him in a pub and told him that I always liked him and thought he was an ok bloke even though my dad and his brothers never went on him much, didn't trust him. I've had no other dreams with him since. I guess it brought closure to things.
