Hello there,

Lately i've been experimenting opening my third eye with my physical eyes open. (Dont ask me why, I've just been bored lately!)

Lots of bizzare things to see. Im sure this is all old-hat, but would quite like to share and hear peoples views.

Firstly, when it's activated, I sort of see concentric rings getting smaller and smaller. These rings arn't particularly clear like lines, but more concentric Coffee-stain rings! They affect the colours I see, in different shades of browny red, followed by a sort of throbbing sound.

The room im sitting in also starts to look all bizzare. Little nuances on the walls and furniture stand out ten-fold, other parts disappear completely.
If I look at my hand and concentrate for a few seconds, the whole hand glows a bright reddy orange, but with a thin, brilliant blue rim around it.
If I move my hand around, it blurs for a second and then re-focuses.

I took my socks off and started energy raising from my feet and again, activated my 3rd-eye to see what will happen. Big, very bright blue blobs seemed to gather around the feet, and also I noticed they were blobbing around the room as well (blobbing, thats a technical term btw)

Im 99.99% certain there's nothing wrong with my physical eyes. I was not straining them, and I blinked naturally while I was doing this.

Sorry if this is not the right place to post this or if it's been mentioned tons of times, but Im new to these sorts of forums

I guess I have some questions, if anyone could help at all..
1)If you've tried this, or do it now and then, what do you see when you do this?
2)Does anyone know if I can do damage to my energy body if I keep doing this (I do a full-body NEW workout every day)
3)If I continue to do it, can you develop the 3rd eye to see more strange things?
4)And also, does anyone know of any little fun experiments you can do while doing this, to sort of prove that your not going completely mad!!

You can't do damage to your energy body by activating your 3rd eye.

When I started doing it swirling colors, blobs of colors was the first thing I saw. As I developed, the blobs turned into auras and energy patterns. I've seen fairies, angels, ghosts, energy imprints (something sort of like a ghost), and dead people. And that's just the nornal stuff.

Developing this skill has really helped me with the healing work I do.

The best thing you can do to prove to yourself your not losing it is to keep a journal of your experiences and thoughts. Over time you will see how your ability developes and how your insights into the meanings will narrow down and become very specific. The more you do this, the less you will doubt yourself.

I prefer to sit in dim light with the physical eyes closed and I sit routinely with other clairvoyant mystic peers we work in hermetic alchemy , kaballah , and ceremonial magick . I also sit alone and see who appears to teach or evoke a teacher . I evoke angels and spirit teachers .

deep breath cleanse crown down
then raise energy from the feet up
attain meditative trance
do psionics like making psi balls then look at then
look at the fingers and see their aura
sit with a friend in front of you and see their aura and the spirits behind them
sit facing a mirror and look at your aura
separate and look at self in trance leaving the body and coming back in
link and remote view a friends home in another country and get confirmation
bi locate and mystically project to the higher planes and meet mahatma
construct a pillar and soul rescue and heal and white light
construct a vortex and separate in projection into it where you will
trance in a shopping centre and see the ghosts around everyone walking there just like us
et cetera

Thanks for your replies, Ill try some of those things, keeping a note I think is a good idea!
Ill try and keep my eyes open for spirits, etc... but Im not that advanced, same as with the projection... I cant project at will..
So i'll just keep my eyes peeled (no pun intended) and see what happens!!
Also, interesting what you say about the right hand. I shall have to look again and see what my left hand looks like!

The basal right hand is orange fire but as the energy body develops it will go through predictable colour changes ;

I've seen the concentric circles and was going to post a new thread about them.
My crown/brow has been pretty active since coming back from TMI, and twice now at very "peaky" moments, I've closed my eyes and seen two large series of concentric circles... they're evenly spaced, rainbow colored lines on the blackness, like color on black velvet. There's about twenty lines (twenty circles) per series, and they slightly overlapped on the edges.

I've seen the same "color on black velvet" effect that has resolved into full 3-D visions before.

This is a first for the circles, however.

this is what my circles look like. Sounds like mrsix's are more sepia toned... which I hear is also a great precursor to the full blown 3D.

This looks just like the 'drops on a waterscape' effect looks like- I see the drops, and then the concentric ripples form on the darkscape. It started with one, then two, now I'm up to four. I initially spoke about this in the "Recurrent hypnagogics- does this happens to you?" Thread years ago when I thought they were hypnagogics.
Wow, I'm glad to see someone else sees something similar to what I do.

I was wondering I saw not circles but the rainbow colors only in a line while meditating w/ eyes closed. Only appeared for a brief moment but def looked really beautiful lol. But what would of that been for me?

Your personal marker, I suppose. It seems that people have differnt 'indicators' that seem to be personal to them. I get the drops, Korpo gets the flowing circles, etc. Why, I'm not sure.

Do we see the outside.. or do you we merely look inside ourselves, or heads?
Are those colors out there, or just reflections of our "inside" realm to the outside one?
and, what are the boundaries between the inside and the outside?

Have any of you tested bursting out at will like a rocket, but not clear whether it's to the inside our to the outside?
I am sure many had. Have anybody tested the feeling of falling down into an endless pit? I am sure many had.

Have you wandered around enough in your OBEs and astral projections? Did any of you felt the "boundary".. the moment when you feel that you have to go back? I do not mean the initial boundary in the first experiences, as this can be crossed with a little bit of courage, but the final one that seems uncrossable?

Are we brains inside a bigger brain, or is it our cumulative brain power that makes the world look as it is?
Are we drops in a bigger ocean, or we are the creators of the ocean?

Just contemplating.. sorry.

Hi!

I havent posted for a while but wanted to revive this thread.
Those concentric rings look exactly like what I see, except mine are generally brown.

I wonder if this is like a visual form of seeing your brain-waves. I normally see it when i'm trying to sleep, but can will it to happen, or see it when i'm meditating. I like reading about other people's 'coffee-stain rings'! (thats my technical term btw) ;o)
