Default Blue interference patterns
On a way out of a dream some weeks ago I dropped into something I could only describe as "pattern of interference" - of the light-blue light and blackness. Like this (but way more complex and changing):

Within that experience I shouted out "This must be the mental body!" - not quite clear why, but I do this sometimes when I detect what energy body must be involved in an experience. For the moment I only notice etheric and mental. I think I pinpointed this to the mental body because I think it was a direct perception of energy.

Today, I picked up my copy of "The Holograhpic Universe". I wanted to pick a certain chapter, but got stuck with the end of the former chapter:

What is "out there" is a vast ocean of waves and frequencies, and reality looks concrete to us only because our brains are able to take this holographic blur and convert it into the sticks and stones and other familiar object that make up our world. [...]

According to Pribram this does not mean there aren't china cups and grains of beach sand out there. It simply means that a china cup has two very different aspects to its reality. When it is filtered through the lens of our brain it manifests as a cup. But if we could get rid of our lenses, we'd experience it as an interference pattern. (Michael Talbot, "The Holographic Universe")

Eerie. A big synchronicity that I picked this page and read the second of the paragraphs first, yielding the word "interference pattern" you don't meet in that use every day. And I did not want to read this part of the book in the first place, but skip it!

That looks exactly like what I see when I see the 'drop falling' effect when I meditate. Or it did when I had two drops. Sometimes it's three or four, one after the other, forming ripples in the background.

Well, this was the best example I could find. Just to demonstrate interference. What I saw didn't seem circular, more like unfolding fans of light. Many, many crisscrossing lines of light blue and dark, and changing all the time.

I'm having a 'Deja Vu' moment. Like we've had this conversation before.

I am reminded of The Matrix. It's really just green symbols appearing and disappearing randomly in columns on a computer screen, but when you're inside it, you experience it in 3D reality.... (By the way, if anyone here has NOT seen that film, I really recommend it. Not only is it quotable and very enjoyable, it's a fantastic metaphor for a lot of spiritual concepts. I also recommend The Truman Show for the same reason.)
