Hello my name is Warren, I live in the UK and have regularly experienced obe's for around 7 years. I do post a message now and again on these forums, but it's quite rare I do so and my post's tend to be after I've come through a strong experience and therefore I’m interested in ideas/opinions of what's happened.

In particular - over the last week I have been having very strong lucid dreams that involve flying over landscapes and some intellectual exchanges with human spirits. I’m noticing a regular pattern where by spirits are coming in close to me "physically" and are sticking to my chakra points. The chakra points have been in the throat and also the root (base) area. These are both Chakra's that I suspect are blocked during my waking life, or I suspect that they could be overloaded with "dense energy".

A few days ago I had a very powerful lucid dream in which I had a high level of intellectual awareness (maybe 100%). During the experience I was talking and playing with children in a house that was previously owned by my Grandparents. There was a television set hung on the room wall that was showing a football/soccer game. I found that by applying my minds focus in a gentle manner onto the television set's images that I could bring in a high level of intelligence and evaluate what was happening i.e. where I was, who I was with, what I’m doing and evaluate my own mind. If I took the focus of awareness away from the television and onto the children or the appearance of the house, then the experience itself seemed to become "duller" and intellectual awareness would reduce. This resulted in my consciousness kind of slipping back into a dream state. Every time my mind began to "slip back" I simply looked at the television and watched the football. Without fail this brought my intellectual mind back and after around two to three times of repeating the action my intellectual mind seemed to stay "switched on".

What happened next is that I quickly turned my body around 360 degrees and I saw my Grandmother who had passed away around 4 years ago. Immediately I felt extremely comfortable and at ease in her presence and kind of "lifted". I knew it was her and said "I knew it was you", she smiled at me and laughed, but as she laughed I noticed that she seemed to morph a bit into her daughter and occupy and express her daughters mannerisms. I then said to her "You remind me of Julie"(her daughter) and "You have Julie's genes" my grandmother then laughed again. I then went in close to her to grab her hands but my hands just passed completely through her body. I then noticed parts of my body felt incredibly dense (in-particular my throat, hands and feet, neck). I tried to speak to my Grandma and attempted to mouth the words “Help me”, but my body just felt incredibly heavy and dense and I couldn’t move anything (including my voice box).

What happened next is that I seemed to fade into another landscape / area / dimension. All of a sudden I was in a youth club type place and was with people who I know from my personal life. I was attempting to speak to these people in an intellectual and spiritual manner, but I received no engagement and it quickly became apparent they were only interested in themselves and each other in their group (a bit of a mirror of my own personal life).

I’m thinking that when my body became dense it was probably my energy becoming denser and thus making me unable to interact with my grandmas energy (my hands passing through her). Also, as the energy became dense it had to re-align with the environmental energy of the same frequency. This would explain why I seemed to “switch worlds” and found myself interacting with dense people.

Any thoughts?

Also, any thoughts why spirits seem to be sticking to my chakras?

Hello Warren, this is a very interesting post. I think you were beginning to access the upper mental planes where you'd very likely have been able to contact Grandma in a more meaningful way. Focussing on the television was the way your mind interpreted the energetic effort you were making to do so.

I have no doubt that someone who has experienced OBEs for seven years will continue to develop his various astral vehicles: the etheric, astral, mental, causal, buddhic and nirvanic and monadic bodies over time.

I will try and buy a copy of that book from ebay, (or see if i can borrow it from a local library).

I think I could also benefit from reading Astral Dynamics.
