Default Problem dozing-off laying on the back.
Hello All!
I have a chalenge! The challenge is that I cant seem to be able to fall asleep laying on my back.
Its a problem because all the material I have read about practicing OBE while in bed,
assumes that you have an easy time being able to fall asleep laying on your back.

In mostly every text I have read its always stated that it can be a problem for many because
they might fall asleep during the exercices!

My problem is that I cant fall asleep as all laying on my back so I cant seem to get to the
"Mind Awake / Body Asleep" state. I can get to the "Body Extremely Relaxed / Mind Awake"
state but my body just wont go to sleep laying on my back

I am writing this because I really want to train OBE'ing when I am in bed (want to make it a
nightly rutine), also I want to use Mantras on Mp3 and hemisync products. But from my point of
view it seems to not work because I cant fall asleep on my back and thus never get to the body
asleep state.

All my previous lucid dream OBE's have been from my normal sleeping position, which is on the stomac.

Problem laying on the stomac is that i cant use earphones also .

What can i do to fix this?
Any suggestions for training OBE, can it be done laying on the stomac or is it to hindering?

Best regards
Mreee

I project from a recliner. It's what works best for me.

My computer room is right next to my bedroom. So me being adventurous as I am, I drilled a hole in the wall between my computer room and my bedroom and ran some speaker wires through there and made a 20 foot long speaker cable from my output on my computer and into my room. I spliced a female speaker input on the wire in my bedroom and brought some computer speakers in there. Now when I go to sleep I start a playlist of music and hemi sync waves and put them on an infinite loop so they play forever. One playlist cycle is 15 hours so I dont hear the same thing twice. I can configure the playlist accordingly until I get the right mix of music and hemi sync tones desired. I lay one speaker on the left side of the bed where my wife usually sleeps and I have the right speaker on a desk next to where I sleep and it works perfectly. I was able to use this configuration with stereo output as well (4 speaker wires instead of 2). There are times when I am unable to do this, obviously while my wife is in bed with me (but then again while in bed with my wife OOBE's are the LAST thing on my mind! ) hehe. Anyway, try this and see if it helps you. I cannot sleep on my side with headphones because its very uncomfortable and hurts my ears, and most of the time I AP I am on my stomach anyway. Good luck!
