ok. so i've been using the MAP cd's every day since i bought them. my dreams are even more lucid and clear now than ever...and i'm going to describe something to you that happened 2 night/mornings ago.

i'm remembering nearly everything better now so here's what i experienced.

my sleep schedule has changed dramatically over the passed several weeks and now i sleep mainly from around 6am to 2pm...
my apartment has become very thick with furniture as my sister is preparing to move so she's asked me to hold onto some things for her. i'm sleeping on the couch as my bed has been overrun with stuff...
around 2am every day, i start with energy work for about 2 hours, then move to obe exit techniques...the ones on the cd's are ok, but i have a problem with the rope and ladder ones. well, the other morning around 5am i'm guessing (one of the few nights i actually had a space on my bed to lay down) i was listening to disc 4 doing some energy work. i was in and out, you know, i'd hear "now do step 4..." then the next thing i'd hear was "step 7" kinda thing...all of a sudden i was aware of something....i wasn't laying on the bed, but floating. i looked down and saw what i think was me laying there and a thin thin "wire" trailing from "me" on the bed to "me" floating in the air. i wasn't anyplace in particular as all my surroundings were dark, like a tunnel. all i could see was down. i felt like the"me" on the bed was flying the "me" floating like a kite. i felt nothing around me, just "space". i didn't panic, but was a bit startled. i could feel the "hair" on my "head" blowing gently in a breeze. if i had to guess, i'd say that i was 40 ft from the bed "me". just floating. it lasted for what seemed maybe a minute. i then reached out my "arm" and wrapped the wire around it, gave a good tug...next thing i know, after a brief "dark" period, i was awake and rolling out of bed.

so...does it sound like i did it??? did i actually project???? my memory is not fading about it. like the colors were a bluish silver, all dark though...i felt like i was outside my apartment as my bed backs up to the outside wall, but i didn't see the wall between me and my "bodies". and my bed "body" flickered a bit...i'm assuming from my screen saver on the computer as it was the only light on n the place....

also, a question...
each time i use the cd's, i hear different things. mostly voices, muffled and female...which i'd say were others in my complex, but when i use the cd's, it's well after the entire complex is asleep...no cars driving, no one outside...dead silence.
anyone else hear voices when using the cds?

so if the rope exit doesn't work for me...any suggestions on something else?

i know the guy on the cd really wants that technique to work and he sells it every 5 secs...but it becomes distracting to me. i lose concentration by focusing so much on doing it that i forget to let go and just "be". the momentum is lost for me.

Are you doing the MAP CDs with the book or by themselves? Because the book gives you a list of different exit techniques to try, and a week to try each.
Anyway, here's some info: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=10348&p=88952

CF...

I only have the little booklet that came with the cd's. it doesn't say anything about the other techniques from your link.

where can i find more info on these techniques?
