Default crickets and chirping sounds
Sorry if i post this in the wrong place, this is my first post other than my intro and im not too sure where it goes.

I have a question about things i hear when i focus on sounds during a few meditation sessions i had. I will try to write them down and make them understandable.

Sometimes when i would lay down with earplugs in i would notice a cricket sound with others like a swamp. it was relaxing and i usually ended up falling asleep. After i started getting into meditation, i noticed this once and decided to actually ""listen" . I seem to hear about 12 sounds. thats how many different ones i seem to have picked out anyway. i have written down the which side they were more dominant on and the way they sounded.

here is my best interpretation on them:

1 - left side dominant - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (highpitched)
2- L dom - wewewewewewewewewewewewewewewewewe ( lower pitch)
3 L dom - wheeoh wheeoh wheeoh (lower pitch^^)
4- L dom - whaw whaw whaw whaw whaw (lower still ^^ )
5- L dom - traditional cricket sound with 3 chirps --- --- ---
6- both - weeuh weeuh weeuh ( sound goes ___/ ___/
7- both - like a cricket saying "cri-cket" /\ /\ /\
8 - R Dom- brrrppp starting low getting higher like a bullfrog almost
9- R dom - like the cricket sound with continuous chirp like -------------------------------
10- R Dom- kinda like .. um.... woolah woolah
11- this one kinda scared me, when i heard it, it was as i started getting really deep
right side dominant .. like leaves rustling... but "felt" like someone sneaking up on you i had earplugs in mind you and i was inside
12- static-ish sounding washing machine... like that signal from the movie contact

Does anyone think anything of this or is it just tinitus, lol cuz thats what everyone tells me

That's a fine catalogue of sounds you normally hear when you meditate with earplugs.

I get the cricket / tree frog sound almost all the time.

have you ever heard the whirling whistle? (that's the only way i can describe it)

well, i think i may know what you're talking about, i think i just describe it differently... also the thing about this is, i can change the pitch ... of most of these sounds. either im changing the pitch, or im choosing not to hear the same pitch and hearing the other pitches of the same sound. It has been a while since i have actually listened again. I think ill give it a shot once i get some more earplugs. i gotta use them cause my dogs making noise distracts me

also.. i am slightly proficient with music creation software, so i might attempt to recreate the sounds i hear through a digital medium.

I moved the topic to AA leaving a shadow to Meditation, since some of the above could be caused by astral noise.
