Hey,

I was wondering if any of you have set up your own experiments to test the reality of OBEs objectively?
If so, I'd be interested in hearing bout what you did and the results you obtained.

I always thought it would be an interesting area to get into. Unfortunately I have the problem that I rarely project into the RTZ and have not yet mastered OBEing consciously (I find it rediculously difficult) though I project spontaneuously.

I had an OBE today that was very nice, but managed to tie me up with questions. I was standing in front of an old rickety metal gate. Then I was on the other side of the gate moving forward. I noticed I was standing in front of the same stone cottage I was at before. (The one with Serendipity on the mailbox; earlier in this thread.) I raised my hand to knock on the door but it went right through. I passed through the door into the house. I saw a man in the kitchen, taking something out of the refrigerator. When he moved, I saw a woman at the counter. I almost didn’t recognize myself. I was probably 15-20 years older than I am now. There was a girl, she was maybe 12-14 years old, sitting at the table doing homework or something while the man and the older me made dinner. I moved around the house, just snooping. It was small and cozy and beautiful, with a big garden in the back. Exactly what I would want. I kept thinking Am I making this up? Am I making this up? It was surreal, to say the least.

Then I felt like I was being pulled from the side and ended up in a black space. I was stunned. My mind was blank. Could not think of any questions to ask my guide. I knew I was not back in my body yet, even though I seemed to be questioning whether or not I had made the whole thing up. I asked my guide to take me to the cars that were parked out on the street, as some way of confirming I did not just have a vivid flight of imagination. (I live in one of my town’s historical districts. There are always different cars parked in front of my house because I am on the main street and lots of people come and go through the little shops and restaurants.) Not very scientific, I know, but I thought it would ease my mind a little. So, I saw cars. When I came to, I ran outside and saw the same cars, but they were reversed compared to the way I saw them in the OBE. Strange.

So I was curious as to whether or not anyone has seen things from the possible future while projecting? Has anyone seen something that has actually come to pass?

Yes I have heard of astral projectors seeing future events.
Its interesting that you say the cars you saw were reversed. It reminded me of something I heard that when the mind processes images it flips them upside down.
Astral visions can sometimes be peculiar!

One time I shuffled a deck of cards and put one right side up on my dresser without looking at it. Then I took a nap and saw it in an OBE. I got more than I bargained for because I could look through the rest of the deck too, which was face down. I find it interesting that the face-down cards looked backwards, because in hindsight it makes sense it would look like that.
