This happened last night. Any comments about this is would be great!!

My body was paralyzed and my mind was fully awake. I was doing some energy body loosening and felt myself lifting out the further I went with the point-shift. I was almost able to roll out when I shifted sharp to the left.

The next thing I know the area in front of my eyes opens up into a pretty large circular area. As I focused some more it became less dark and I saw a tunnel in front of me. A dim light could be seen in the distance and I attempted to head toward it but I was unable to separate completely from my body. I was stuck along my spine from the neck down. After several failed attempts at this I saw a figure walking towards me out of the tunnel. I gave myself the affirmation “I will remember all of this when I wake up” -it just stood there maybe 50 yards away while I tried for another exit. I said to myself “Dammit I’m trying I’m trying wtf?” and the figure started walking towards me again and it said “keep trying, you can do it” no idea what the figure was, I wasn’t threatened by it so I gave it one more shot – and failed miserably again. So I relaxed back and began to accept that I’ve failed this completely now for this night and then all of a sudden the figure rushed forward towards me and all I now see is his face. “YOU CAN DO IT!” he said directly in my face and then rushed backwards at the same speed he came towards me back about 50 yards into that tunnel like before, standing there waiting for me was the impression I was now getting.

So who was this guy? It wasn’t just a regular person – I had never seen anyone like him. He had strawberry blonde hair, but it wasn’t light colored it was dark but not quite red, I can’t really describe the color. It was cut short and parted on the left side. His face was a perfect complexion, not washed out pale but not tan either. Clean shaven almost like he never had whiskers ever. It resembled skin of someone of irish descent. His eyes were very pale washed out light green like nothing I’ve ever seen. Seemed to be in his late 20s or early 30s maybe.

I held trance for quite a while until REM started up and all these images of this guy stared changing in front of my eyes, cartoon like some of them, then they’d change into abstract lines and grayscale images and into colourful impressionistic blobs until I gave in and drifted off to sleep.

I was probably stuck along my spine because I threw my back out last saturday.

One more thing.. I received my second degree Reiki attunement a couple weeks ago and my Reiki master said that while she was giving me the attunement she saw a figure standing there with me. She couldn't tell any details but sensed that it was a "he". Said she never experienced that while giving anyone an attunement.

Congratulations.
Sounds like you had quite the experience.
To me, it sounds like that was your guide... but meh, I could be wrong.
Maybe a recently passed family member? Either/or...

in all my obes i've never encountered any "guides" or spiritual beings... or maybe I just didnt think that they were what they were. to be frank, sex is always on my mind during an obe, and i've always wanted to make out with leah remini. a few weeks ago i got that chance when I was flying over a park and she appeared below me, I flew down and started making out with her and it was great. but i doubt she was my "guide"

hehe,i've been having similar sex urges almost every time i've been "out" recently.
i got it under control with a simple intention as i'm planning my journey beforehand.
the urge still happens,but i immediately recognise it and stop it.

as for guides,i've never seen one (knowingly) in an obe,but i'm always aware of their presence,just over my shoulder.it's very reassuring.
i have heard and felt two different guides when in trance,one male and one female,both have talked to me.
one time i saw the female sitting smiling at me,i opened my eyes and closed them 3 times,each time i closed them,she was still there,looking rather amused!

Have you ever tried to request your guide's presence and possibly be able to speak with them then?

I always ask my guide to come along. Usually she is leading me while I project.

I'm sure that having her with me is one of the reasons I have never had a scary experience in the astral and also why projecting has always been so easy for me. It's nice to have her there in case I have questions. She has answers.

i do always sense their presence tho,tho i don't always recognise that it was there until i've woken up..so it's too late to try and speak with them.

anytime they have spoken to me,it's been only a sentence,from just behind me.
and nothing more than a word of encouragement,or something to make me realise i can act differently and overcome some obstacle..

maybe i'n not ready for a full-blown conversation yet. i dunno?
it's nice to know they're there tho.

You'll get there!

Maybe they're waiting till you actually get out, maybe that confirms to them you're serious about it.. could be some angelic rule of thumb or something

I’ve never had to get help in leaving my body, but I would think if there is a good reason for you to project, your guide will help you in the areas you are having problems. You could always ask your guide, if there is something that I should know, please show me the answer. I always say to my guide, take me where I need to go. This works well for me because now I project mainly to do healing work.

When I started, I only projected when I felt like I was being guided to. This is what happened one time when I wasn’t guided to project and did anyway.

I have been projecting almost everyday since I started because it gives me a boost of energy. So, last week I had a little break at work and thought I'd use the time to project. I had called my guide, like I always do, and when I got into the astral and saw her, she looked a little perturbed. I definitely got the sense that she was busy. She "said" I could follower her around. As she "walked" away, she shed her human-looking form, like she couldn’t be bothered with it today. So, I followed around this glowing light until I got bored (didn't take very long because I couldn't really tell what she was doing), and reentered my body.
