Good evening all from chilly Sydney,
I have been doing energy work\yoga\meditation regularly (but not overly) since my first OBE almost 3 years ago. Since then I have experienced quite frequently the appearence of a brightly coloured dot in my vision. The dot is usually single, always very brightly coloured ... either white, blue, red or more recently green, it is only a pinprick size and only lasts for a second. It can appear at work out of the corner of my eye, as I wake from sleep or anywhere really. Has anyone got any ideas what I may be experiencing or had any similar experiences? Take care, imbrium |

thanks for the reply, but this link does not match my experience, I have had experience with floaters and know what they are.
Also " Scheerer's phenomenon is distinguished by the appearance of multiple, identical-looking bright dots that follow each other rapidly along the same path. Floaters are variable in appearance; although they sometimes are dots, they often have the appearance of threads or shreds of crumpled cellophane. " As these dots appear always in the singular and are stationary when they appear, I doubt it could be Scheerers... |

in my experience, those bright sparkle dots were very common in a haunted place I lived in. My guess is that they're a visual representation of points of consciousness... because my feeling is that not ALL dots are spirits, but that spirits can very commonly be seen as those dots. If it means anything, the dots at the haunted building were almost uniformly more white in color and very bright and sparkly in peripheral vision, while the occasional dots I see in my day-to-day life are more colored and smaller pinpoints of light, more apt to occupy more central areas of vision. I have also seen clear bubbles with a black nucleus, rather like orbs, and my feeling about them is not a very positive / higher level kind of feeling. I see those a lot in corporate / worky type of places.
(as always, people's MMV.) |
