Hello
Friday night I went to bed at 12:30 a.m. I woke up to my alarm at 3 am, went back to bed, woke up again at 3:30 am from my alarm, went back to bed, and then I woke up to my alarm again at 4:30 and stayed up. I had to memorize my lines for this play we're doing this week . I did all my memorizing and then went back to bed at 6:30 am. I needed to wake up at 7 am. Within those 30 minutes I had closed my eyes and tried to sleep. I was just staring into blackness and then all of a sudden I started to notice that I was looking into my room. Except it was a bit brighter than it should have been. I didn't think I was actually seeing through my shut eyelids so I opened them. I thought, "wow thats awesome...not go to sleep." I closed my eyes a second time and ended up seeing through my shut eyelids once more. I opened my eyes to confirm that it was happening and low and behold, it was. So I closed them a third time and it happened again. I stupidly opened my eyes and it was gone. Then I eventually fell asleep. So I thought it was pretty cool that this happened. I'm sure its something trivial for most people. But I'm wondering what would've happened if I had gone with it and kept looking instead of opening my eyes. I thought it was weird that it happened 3 times in a row. Also that my lack of sleep brought it about. And that those "30 minutes" felt a lot longer. That's about it. Basically, I just wanted to record my experience. Any input is really awesome as well . -Brian |
