I was lying down in mid day trying to get some rest. A few seconds after I had closed my eyes I had started to get that electric feeling going through my body. I could see colors in my eyes, a man's face even appeared to be looking directly into me, after that I started to see a very light shade of purple-I assume this may be the aura of my guardian there trying to assist/protect me.
I could actually feel myself rising out of my body and turning upwards but I had a hard time seeing anything. I had to try this a few times before I was able to get my head, feet out/roll out method. When I felt I was out I had pushed through some sort of wall - it had many colors. It was hard to see and I'm not sure if I can describe it well because even I don't know what was going on. I tried to push through it and when I did it felt like I was pushing through a thin piece of silicon that wouldn't break - it just simply let me through. After I passed I felt some type of cord that was holding onto me so I wouldn't get lost. I know the first part of my OBE was successful, I managed to get out and pass some sort of barrier.. But I eventually went back into a dream-like state, I think.. Or could have been an OBE? I think I'm getting closer but it's hard for me to see where I'm going - I'll try to open my eyes a little and then I can picture things, but normally I wake up. QUESTIONS: Am I supposed to see with my "third eye"? How can I see? How can I do it successfully without waking up? What does it feel like when you go through walls? If I don't hear a popping sound or any other weird noises, does that mean I haven't successfully disconnected myself from my body? Is it possible to meet other people who are out of their body and you're able to interact with them? Anything jump out at you in this post that you could help me out with? Thanks. |

Am I supposed to see with my "third eye"? How can I see? How can I do it successfully without waking up? Don't worry too much about technical things like your third eye. If you want to explore that, then meditate and do energy work, which will help you gain strength in the AP so that you don't wake up very easily. If I don't hear a popping sound or any other weird noises, does that mean I haven't successfully disconnected myself from my body? Is it possible to meet other people who are out of their body and you're able to interact with them? It sounds like you have had successful OBE's to me. Don't doubt yourself, you've got it! |

Amber, I'll probably repeat some of what you just read, but I just can't resist.
Am I supposed to see with my "third eye"? How can I see? How can I do it successfully without waking up? It has been theorized, and I agree with this idea, that you perceive with your energy body. In other words, your energy body is your vehicle and your perceptual organ. Sort of like radar, and explains why you see 'everything', nondirectionally (aka 360 vision) What does it feel like when you go through walls? Pretty much how you described, and other ways too. I've felt like mist going through the wall, like butter, and sometimes as if the wall/barrier were made of rubber. Most of the time the wall feels the same as in regular old reality, and I'm the one is who feels different. Except I feel how it feels on the inside. It just depends on how engaged in the experience you are and how fast you're going. If I don't hear a popping sound or any other weird noises, does that mean I haven't successfully disconnected myself from my body? It doesn't mean anything. Astral noise is a symptom of the transitional state- so if you transition fairly quickly, you may not experience any exit sensations, like vibrations or noise. Is it possible to meet other people who are out of their body and you're able to interact with them? Yes. I've interacted with living projectors, guides and other type beings. Anything jump out at you in this post that you could help me out with? When you went through the colored barrier and ended up in a dream, you probably shifted into the astral. It is not uncommon to shift phase from the RTZ to the astral, and getting speed or going through barriers or vortexes are some of the ways you can do it. |

With conscious projectors, it was nonverbal communication. Sort of like a dream, but they were conscious, it's hard to describe. With sleeping people it was a little different- they are interactive, but not 'awake'- kind of like addled. More like dream characters. The only reason I knew I wasn't creating the situation is that they told me they were dreaming about me.
