Hi, I saw in the introduce yourself part that someone had mentioned seeing a spider. Someone responded saying they would post the message in another place but I'm not sure where that is so I'm trying here because I have had similar experiences.

First, I'll be honest. My "known" OBE's were back in my college days when a good friend and I did some together and compared notes - what we saw etc. We were having a pretty good time - I even met her cat and opened the door for it once while out of body - it loved me after that! - but then some "weird stuff" started to happen and we both became a bit leery of the whole OBE thing!

The "weird stuff" that happened was basically that one day we had tried to go into a trance I guess you would call it to get to OBE but instead of going out of body we both sensed a presence a really huge presence outside of the door. It was like this huge, gigantic being was looking in on us, curious. We both felt the presence wasn't malicious or wanting us harm but it was huge so we were a little freaked. Around the same time we started to spontaneously "see" little blue people who would be sort of hiding and laughing. These beings weren't so nice seeming, sort of mocing and teasing like they wanted our attention but not for good reasons. Later in life we met some people at a new age group and one man said that he had also met little blue people and had made the mistake of engaging them and they posed questions/riddles of him and drove him crazy for years. Another woman said she had read of little blue people in some book and, being a skeptic, was rather surprised that we (my friend and I ) and this man said we had met them too.

Anyway, to end up, I read the post with the spider and thought "jeez" I'm glad I haven't seen bugs - but then started laughing because although I haven't sought to Astral Project for years I realize after reading through things on the site that I have still been doing it on and off without consciously meaining too. It also makes me think that the time I was sleeping in my friends room (roommate's roome) because mine had been painted I jumped half asleep out of bed and was sure I saw a spider on the wall behind her bed. Woke the poor woman out of a dead sleep, I'm sure, and, not being quite "alll there" couldn't tell her what I saw. By the time i could tell her (ie I'd really woken up) the spider was gone. I wondered why I would see a spider but now I think it might have been one of these astral creatures. Why do they look like spiders though?

Anyway, really just wondering if anyone's seen blue beings or huge presences outside their door. Thanks.

No blue people for me, but I remember years ago Whitley Strieber had a projection (or abduction) with blue people.
