The speech center in the brain is there from birth. Babies are born with a language (I'm hungry, I'm uncomfortable, I'm happy, etc.) We're hardwired to be verbal, so I wouldn't count on us stopping to use 'lamo' words.
The truth is that language evolves with us, and today's 'lame-o' words replace yesterday's 'lame-o' words. So being built like we are, I wouldn't count on it. Maybe we can start reading again so that most people learn to use more than one word for each meaning. Wouldn't that be refreshing? A tiny bit less lame. Maybe even more interesting. |

One of my children is autistic. She had pretty much no speech at all until she was three and a half (maybe a handful of words, but she didn't use them consistently). She couldn't understand what we said to her, and we frequently didn't understand what she was trying to say, when she bothered to attempt communication at all.
Interestingly, though, it is with this child (out of four) that I have the strongest psychic bond. I won't go into all of it because it's long and not really on topic for this thread, but from the time she was conceived I've been able to understand her in a way that nobody else can. I don't think it's just "mother's instinct" because I don't have it with my other children, even the ones that are known to be psychic (my eldest) or who are showing signs of clairvoyance (my youngest). It's only the non-verbal child with whom I have this non-verbal connection. Which isn't to say this connection made her life any easier, poor kid, but I do think it's significant that we have it. It's almost like her spirit knew she was going to have these problems and sought me out right away and set up this communication channel. We still have it, although she is verbal now (she can tell you a story, ask questions, demand to be taken to McDonald's, complain about her sister, talk to the cat, tell lies, sing songs, all kinds of wonderful things). I don't know if this has any bearing on anyone's question, but it seemed like something to share, anyway. Take it for what it's worth. |

I think when you hear something in human language telepathicly it is actually a translation of the 'alpha' language which I think is what makes the jump. Images and emotion are examples of basic 'alpha' language that can be sent. Note that I normally don't get that kind of communication with my daughter. Our non-verbal communication is very deep and almost instantaneous, and I "just know". The only time I can recall receiving psychic communication from her that I interpreted verbally was in the very, very early stages of labour, when I knew, very clearly, "Okay. I'm coming now." |

And I thought my family was strange Well, I guess it is, but not in a good way like yours. Very spiritual women seem to give birth to very spiritual children, it seems to get passed down. I was born during my mom's 'spiritual phase' and I'm nothing like the rest of my family, well, a little like my mom, because I can relate to her previously dormant spiritual side.

hi. i dont know if this will be any help but sept last year i met my soulmate, however he is currently in japan and the only way we can see or talk to each other is through astral projection or when i'm awake or not there through telepathy. at first i thought no it's got to be my own imagination or something explainable but the replies were coming to quickly and were not things i would normally find myself saying....
telepathy is totally do-able it may take a while... it took me till feb this year to realise that the bond was there! oopps oh well. |

Well this is kind of like telepathy but a little different.
This is where no words are used at all. Its all mental imagery sent telpacthically. For example if you asked me what was wrong, (and my toe was hurting), i would send you the feeling of a hurting toe to let you know what was wrong. I think thats right. JS |
