I know Robert suggests pulling your energy body out of yourself by imagining climbing a rope. I also saw him suggest in a video that you feel your energy body rolling continuously so that your mind stays awake while your body falls asleep. I've had success with the rolling out of my body part only.. but does anyone have any other suggestions?
I think tonight I might try to imagine myself running. I often lapse while spinning and fall asleep unconsciously. |

There are many and for that i suggest you get astral dynamics.
But the one i use most and have best results is the water ski. Use this while sitting. Pretend you are grabing a water ski rope from the back of the boat. Feel the boat speeding off and the inital yank you would get. Then feel it pulling you, the water splashing on your face, and your vision blurring. This one give me best results. JS |

The waterski method works really well for me also. I also recommend snow-skiing (if you've done it before the better) and bodysurfing (once again, if you've done it before).
Another and very different one is to wait 'til you get hypnagogic visions and ask someone to pull you out. This is not good if you have fears, though. |

Wow thats really interesting.. I don't know why I didn't think to try those. I've never succesfully waterskied so maybe I'll stick to the skiing and surfing. I'm currently working my way through the begining of "90 Days to an astral projection"... Do you think I should still look into Astral dynamics Josac?

Oh my goodness when I am in hypnogogic state those voices and sounds terrify me... I never thought of asking for anyone to help pull me out (because I always tell myself that those sounds are not real... just part of my imagination!) |

Yes definetly get it. I read it while i was doing the 90 day guide. It clears much up, and also helps program your subconcious. Im not using the 90 day guide anyomre tho, i didn't like the idea of having to do certin things.
I never waterskiied either. But u can make up spme of your own techniques, just use something with a pulling or dragging action. JS |

I always find the Blowing Up technique (that's what I've labeled it) lol works quite good. Using your breath as you exhale out imagine your Astral body blowing up like a ballon and as you inhale imagine the ballon (your Astral body) floating up, if that makes sense? Keep going and see yourself floating up to the ceiling and out through the roof of your house and up into the sky, keep going until you're out.

That's funny, I've never had much success with that technique but it interests me a lot. Sometimes I'm not sure whether I should concentrate and keep my focus at my dan tien or allow myself to become more spaced out.. I guess the idea is to move into the ethereal planes but maintain concentration which is tough for me. I think tonight I'll try this by raising energy on the in breath instead of expanding.. and then being a tiny spec on the out breath?
Do you normally raise a lot of energy before trying this Enlightenment? |
