Recently I've been dozing off and go through this stage where my body feels like it's being electrocuted.. It's a tingly sensation that runs through my veins.. I read about OBE's and tried to practice it last night.. I closed my eyes and started to fade out and envisioned what I wanted to dream about/see/experience. I was able to do the "roll out" method and found myself kneeling in front of my bed.. I couldn't quite get up though.. I wasn't physically out of my bed but I felt as if I just simply rolled out of my shell.
Is it possible for me to encounter evil entities or other individuals during my OBE? Am I getting closer to success? |

This does sound like you had an OBE, actually. Energy work and energy raising might have given you the ability to do more than what you seemed capable of in the state.
According to Robert OBE does not expose you more to entities than not OBEing. Indeed, while OBEing according to Robert you are rather safe, though you can be scared. You can meet evil entities or other people. Does not necessarily happen, though. Take good care, Oliver |

Is it possible for me to encounter evil entities or other individuals during my OBE? It is possible to encounter all kinds of astral entities when you are out, but realize that you get out every time you fall asleep- the difference is that you are unconscious and don't remember. The essential difference with an OBE is that you are now conscious and aware of who or what you encounter, and bring back the memory in a conscious way. But you are no more in danger (or actually not at all) than not having it at all. Most of the dangers that we often talk about refer to the capacity of individuals to be able to emotionally handle expanded awareness. That's why we don't recommend anyone with a history of psychiatric problems to do any 'expanded awareness' training, such as AP or even meditation. Am I getting closer to success? You successfully separated. I'd call this success. Now I'd recommend more study, and energy work to learn how to stay out and away longer. Congratulations. |
