For several months my sister and I have been experimenting with OBE. She has never projected, but is very eager for her first nuts and bolts experience. We have an ongoing experiment where: she placed a stone on top of a specific scrpture in her bible; and I was to travel to her place (Los Angeles) from my place (Seattle) while OOB, and report what I can regarding the stone, the scripture, other surroundings, etc... After several attempts (very mixed results) I decided that I might just give up on this one, maybe out of my league... An event occured several weeks ago that still has me Dazed!!!

Woke up to very strong full body hum (no vibrations) but still paralyzed. Roll/Out. Wasted no time headed straight thru my door and into what was supposed to be the hallway, but was in a different place altogether. I did not recognize this place at all. (I remember noticing how alive and 'electric' everything felt.) Floating around for a min, I noticed my Sis sleeping on her left side, on a couch in the living room of this place, facing a big bay window to the south. I went down and 'got her up'. Grabbed her by the hand and forearm and she stood up. She clearly was confused. She seemed very groggy, and clearly did not recognize me. This did not shock me to much. I put her arm around my neck/shoulder and I put my hand around my waste and I lead her over to ther window. She did not resist, but she was still very groggy and confused. We went out the window and started floating down. That is Where I lost her. poof. she disapeared... At that exact moment, I noticed a thrashing around in the bushes, (still below me to the right, as i was still floating down from the window) I was a huge bear, thraxhing around and very ANGRY and loud and causing a big ruckus! I flew down and tried to confront the bear, and get its attention. of course I succeeded and the damn thing attacked me! over and again but could not hurt me. Finally the bear looks at me very sternly and says. "leave me alone, now is NOT the time" and with that,,, I was back in my bed full body hum... lay there for a few minutes, taking time to remember the whole thing. Got up and wrote the whole thing down in my OBE journal... I remembered very clearly, that that last part, regarding the bear seemed kinda 'dreamlike' very 'dream imagy' so to speak...

I considered this another failure, until I talked to her bout a week later. I was able to describe the place that i found her, and was right on target, every detail. This was amazing because she was skiing that weekend and I had no way of knowing what her room looked like, where she slept, how she slept, and everything. My sis was amazed... I told her the rest of the story in great detail and by the time I was done she was in frickin tears. She explained to me that she was having trouble sleeping because something kept "pissing her off in her 'dream'" the only thing she remembers about the dream is that she was thrashing around trying to get this 'thing' to leave her alone!!! We put the peices of out two stories together over the next couple of hours, and I gotta say, THIS WAS NOT A FAILURE!!! and, even though we did not recognize each other, we clearly had some interaction somewhere in the OBE/Dream world... The implications of this event (from no vibs, to phazing to my sis spontaneously, to interacting with another person and thier dream imageray...) are going to take m a while to work out. Like I say, this whole experience is stil 'sinking in'. We ended up talking for hours about OBE/LD/NDE/Energy Work/ etc...

She insists her 'totem' is a Bear now!!!

That is awesome, Earthborn.
I get things bothering me all the time, and I frequently wake up 'slapping the air' and saying stuff like 'go home' and such. I'm going to start reporting these as now it occurred to me that this could be someone projecting to me, and here I am, shooing them away.
Just last week I had one of those happen to me. Going to start writing them down so I remember the details.

To be honest, it never really occurred to me that she (my sis) wouldn't recognize me, or I her. Or anyone else for that matter. I am finding myself 'rethinking' alot of the experiences I have had in the past...
(good thing i keep good journal... ) Just when I think I got a handle on OBE!!! hahaha...

I'm conductiing a similar experiment with a forum member whom I have never met. We've had some interesting results so far, but the vividness of your adventure will keep trying for more.

Yes, definately let us know how that is going... I usually have mixed results with numerous tries before I get a result that I am satisfied with. But, that doesn't mean that the first tries are failures. In fact, when looking back on some of my earlier attempts to visit my sis, I think they were alot more on target than I first assumed. The elements of the OBE are taylored to the projector. The best thing to do is keep trying and experimenting.... AND KEEP A JOURNAL!!!!!!!!
