Default Interesting experience by Redlining
Ok, so had a very interesting experience the other night, as well as an interesting dream last night.

First of all, CFTraveller, Thanks for the link. I've printed it off and have gotten through most of it to help me understand Astral Projection better.

The other night I used an audio program called "Brainwave Mind Voyages - Astral Trance" produced by Hemi Sync. It was pretty interesting and has the purposes of helping you enduce an OOBE. What I found happened was the more I listened and relaxed, the funnier my physical body felt. I was lying in my bed (before going to sleep) with the covers over me, listening to my Ipod. My arms for instance began to feel so strange. My right arm in particular felt the strangest. I was just lying on my back with my arms beside me and eventually I couldn't really feel my right arm per say, and got the feeling that it was completely twisted around almost like turning it around 180 degrees. It was a strange feeling mixed with the twisting, and a kind of "I can't really tell where my arm is or which direction it is in" kind of feeling. The audio program used several visualization proceedures including imagining looking down on your body from above, which I was able to do fairly well, except I had a hard time really envisioning what my face looks like. I think I've always had this issue. I have lots of pictures of me on my computer, so it's not like I don't know what I look like, however when trying to "visualize" myself, I seem to have issue. I know that sounds kind of strange, but then again...here we are...

So next, I imagined floating in my room and trying to look around. I have a pad of paper on a table beside my bed, which I seemed to be able to visualize. I concentrated on the pen with the pad, and the position of the pen. When I got up the following morning however, the pen was not in the same orientation in which I envisioned it, so I question perhaps whether my mind was making up the vision more than actually experiencing it in an OOBE. I did however imagine floating out of my house and down the street to a park in the Downtown area of my city. Imagining the Christmas lights on the trees there. I seemed to come across a shadowy figure in the distance whom I either wanted to approach, or wanted to approach me. I was a little frightened, and unsure of who this was. Part of my was trying to imagine or tell me that it was my spirit guide (whom I don't really know yet) however when I reach out my hand to shake hands with this entity, I believe it became what I have envisioned of my spirit guide. The scenario seemed to end after that. I have for reasons unknown to me thought of my spirit guide as a casually dressed black man in his probably late 30's. I have envisioned him wearing loafers, slacks, and a button-down ♥♥♥♥ with a golf clubhouse style sweater over it (You know the kind with a diamond type pattern on it). He seems very polite and whether I just made this up in my mind or not, I got the name "Stephen" from somewhere...

Strange things.

Secondly, I had a dream last night (after listening to an audio program called "Alien Remote Viewing - part 2" as a part of the Cosmic Voyage program. I was unable to identify the male speaker, who does make reference to him being a social scientist. He was speaking on a specific time when he was projecting and came across a room "with three walls" where there were several beings from his family who has passed on. He asked about his Aunt Elsie who then appeared and took him to a location where he viewed what he described as hundreds of thousands of 'Grays'. I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject of Grays yet, so please forgive my ignorance. He mentioned that one of them communicated with them to ask if he was there to help them, to which he was unable to reply if he was able to or not. I then read this morning online after doing some research that a common theme in 'abductions' by these 'grays' is that they are typically abducting humans in order to incubate a genetically crossed being (between humand and grays) due to the fact that their race is in some sort of trouble.

Anyways to get back to my dream, I had a dream that I was in a small village with woods surrounding it. There were grays there but they were mostly hidden from human perception. I found that they were initially in the form of kittens. I also got the idea that humans in the area (perhaps military, but I couldn't identify) were trying to find and destroy or capture these beings, and for some reason my role was to either work with them or proect them. I did seem to make physical contact with them by both holding the 'kitten' forms, as well as one running out of the woods and jumping into my arms (though appeared as a small balloon type figure that resembled the typical 'gray' formation though much smaller (about a foot to a foot and a half tall, and quite thin - about half a foot). As the dream progressed it appeared that the grays become frustrated with the human violent tendencies towards them, and proceeded to destroy us and the earth. They seemed to summon some others, who appeared in fairly large fighter-type ships, and became bombing the people on the ground around me - though I was not harmed. They then appeared to me as large turtles who seemed to almost 'store' themselves (for purposes I was unaware of - whether it be sleep or what) in large stall (barn-like) compartments that were stored in a boxed (both horizontally and vertically) like a Matel Dinky-car structure manor. I don't recall anything after this in the dream.

One of strangest dreams I have had recently.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Dave.

Dave.
You know, I get the exact same feeling. I think it's kind of an exit signal. I get it when I lie still for some amount of time. I think your arm starts to seperate at that point. I feel it a lot better in my left arm though, and just a tiny bit in the legs. Probably because my left arm is less troubled by blockages.
Can anybody give some info?

It can happen while falling into trance state. You can feel parts of body very strangely, because you have body more relaxed than mind. I felt my finger bending to opposite movement, it was very strange.

Hey Dave. For information about grays, I personally recommend Whitley Strieber's website, Unknowncountry.com. To be completely honest and no offense meant to any others that have other preferences, I find him the most credible of all the abductees, precisely because he's not married to his ideas- as much experience he's had with his 'visitors' (as he calls them) he still keeps an open mind about what they may really be about, and IMO has the most logical ideas as to what it's about. I at least, enjoy his website.

I like Whitley's writing. Funnily enough, his OBE experiences described in one of his books brought me to read Monroe, and then Robert's books.

I think you made a little error there CF, since I don't feel like I'm troubled (or seeing) gray's at all.
It just gets hard to locate your thumb. You get the feeling that it is in two places at once, like facing up and down.

I make a lot of mistakes about a lot of things, but I never said you saw grays. Since grays were in the theme of the dreams being discussed, I was only offering a source of information after "Any thoughts?" from Dave. I guess I said "Hey Martin" instead of "Hey Dave"-my mistake. So I redirect the answer to the person who actually asked it. In fact, I'll go rewrite my post right now as to remove all confusion.
