So Robert says that any dream is an astral projection... And that there is a cord attached to the physical body during this process... Meaning that the energy body is out doing things on the astral planes.. outside the physical body..

So does this mean that anything you do in the astral planes has tiny correlation on the physical level? For instance; if you have sex with a someone this would in some way have an effect on them in the physical level?

Or.. are you only interacting within your OWN world which is what I've always thought.

It depends on your worldview. If you see the astral as separate from the physical, then there's one answer. If you see the physical and astral (or other mystical subdivisions) as different expressions of the same, then the answer changes a bit. Some people see a cord, others don't, so that has another answer, once again, depending how you see the world.
Some people believe that the whole life experience is interacting with yourself, and some, me being one, think that all of us, subject and objects, are just representations of one mind.
So, I only can reiterate what Robert said is what he believes. And he does say that dreams are projections into self-made astral pools, while astral projections (or OBEs) are projections into a collective plane, and he has seen astral cords.
How you interpret that depends on what you believe.

Okay that certainly clarifies things for me. Do you personally have any way of determining/predicting whether you are projecting into your personal pool or the collective pool? I would surmise that if your projecting technique is to "pull" your energy body out of the physical then you could be in the collective astral plane... if you realize your are dreaming during a dream this might be the personal pool? I'm still not sure whether I think this is all happening inside ones personal reality or some collective as well.

You know, some people that have studied consciousness have techniques, but I have found in retrospect that I have received information from a background that looked, felt, and I was sure was a dream, but the information itself was only obtainable from the collective, or someone else's personal unconscious, which IMO is the same thing. (From my pov, anyway).
And other times have had a conscious separation, and gone on to what could be described a completely symbolic experience, which I would categorize as 'mine'. So it's hard to follow someone else's 'guidelines' to determine the nature of an event.
So, my friend is retrospect.

Hundreds of projections,,, and no cord... at least not for me... nor have i ever seen my own body,,, only cloud of dark smoke... or guides,,, only vague participants... (talk about collective thought form pools...) i seem to be on my own... swimming in my own pool of,,, energy.... But I have definately verified objective reality through OBE,,, so perhaps i am swimming in a pool of ALL energies... and I have 'tuned in' to my own/others energies, only SEEMINGLY...

It seems to me that when we project we also 'project' our own archetypal 'truths' into what is the collective pool. So that something like a 'cord' (which is an utilitarian form, and archetypal in nature, as in, umbilical cord) can be represented in other words. So is it a 'cord' that looks like a cord? Energetic connection to your physical body, especially in today's technologically oriented society can take another form, as your psyche understands. So don't be so married to only one possible representation of connection- even with words, we hava many ways to express the same concept.

I have yet to project. But i read something where they did some studies at a college or something. They wrote a list of numbers on a black board a few rooms over. And had a person project in a competely seperate room. Upon awakening she recited all the numbers in the same order.

So mabye a collective pool, but im not sure.
