Had something which maybe can be described as one obe this morning.
I woke up but thought I should stay conscious while falling asleep. It worked and while in the dream I requested more consciousness and better vision ( do I have to think it or scream it? ), guess I was a little afraid of screaming out of my real body) I think It worked, atleast with the vision. I didn´t like the dream I had because my friends were chasing me. I tried to let myself go and just fall back and convert it to an obe, this seemed to work because I fell and was soon in a new environment. I was in a shopping mall and I soon saw my friends, I tried to think If I was seeing a future event. I tried to talk to them but they ignored me or couldn´t see me. I got bored and flew through the roof and shattered the glass, I flew out and experienced some sort of gravity pull but was soon flying again. I tried to think to myself what things I should be taking advantage of doing, I said: "I need some guide to teach me things here". I was suddenly holding a telephone in my hand whose voice told me I was one hold. I didn´t want to speak while flying so I tried to land. I came down too fast and destroyed a number of trees when going down, this steep descent woke me up. Conclusion: I got to make use of some new things, like falling in a lucid dream to convert it to a obe, although I´m not really sure it succeeded, or maybe I just thought the this astral plane would be different. I´m also not sure my request to get more consciousness succeeded, everything just seemed to move so fast, but perhaps that is typical in the astral. Also getting on hold in a telephone queue when requesting help was a bit funny. I wonder how much my dream mind influenced things too... /magic |

Ok, yes I have heard that the dream mind can interfere quite heavily.
But I find it a little odd that some people, one particular come to mind (William Buhlman, author of Adventures beyond the body) has initiated his out of body before going to sleep in bed, but from what I can read in his book, he seem to be quite in control without any dream images interfering.... /magic |
