Well, isn't it funny that I spend a month working on my energy and reading all of these books and LOW AND BEHOLD, my girlfriend projects. lol
She told me of her experience, I will try to recite her experience as best I can. She lied on her bed for about an hour and thiry minutes. Her body did not move once despite the random urges to scratch parts of her body that had an itch. She focused on clearing her mind, and she focused on her breathing. She said that for a good portion of the time that she was on her bed she would have her eyes closed (duh) and she wouldn't be looking at the back of her eyelids, as in she wouldn't be looking at the black behind her eyes. She tried over and over to explain to me that she would be using her mind's eye to look at her room without looking at it, but she would just see black because she's in her physical body. WTF. She said that when she does this she gets a sort of pressure on her forehead or on the back of her head...depending on how she's doing "it". She continued to lay on her bed and after a while she got kind of frustrated. She thought to herself, "I'm trying too hard and I've been lying still for too long." Soon she just says she wants to be free, as I had said when I was trying to project. So she figures that shes working to hard, so she lets go. She said that she "trusted herself" and just let go. She was lying down and all of a sudden she was sitting upright. She didn't remember sitting upright. She goes to touch her eyes, but w/e touched her eyes, not her physical hands, it felt that eyelids were shut. So she said that everything was gray save for a blue light in the topmost corner of her room. She said she also saw some type of bar. The blue light freaked her out and she woke up. SO! It seems that I am the only bloody person that can't project!!! Damnit! But my girlfriend is kind of afraid about what happened. Now, she tried for a long time to describe to me that you don't look at the back of your eyelids, that you try to use your mind's eye to see your room, but you won't see anything because you're in your body. Now, I said that if I try to see my room, I'll see it. Because...I guess I can imagine it. She said if she doesn't know that that's right. She said that when she is looking at this "black" her mind is "opening up" and she could hear that sound. The sound that you hear when your eyes are shut really tight, you hear that sound in your ears...yea... So she's telling me that if I can try and look at nothing instead of lookin at the back of my eyes, I will be able to project better, possibly. She thinks that by looking with your minds eye at nothing, at blackness, almost trying to see your room, that you are clearing your mind. I'm finding it difficult to close my eyes and not look at the back of my eyelids and use my minds eye to look at nothing and clear yourmind. She tried to describe it like you're watching a movie and your eyelids are drooping and becoming very heavy, when you clothes your eyes, you're kind of looking at nothing, not even the back of your eyelids. Well, I'm having trouble see what she's trying to explain. Any comments about her projection or what she's trying to explain to me? Thank you, in advance. |

yea, i am happy for her! lol. apparently her mom has done it and usually wakes up with sleep paralysis. but is too afraid to ever project again. the one time she did project...it so happens that her mother was in the house, my gf's grandma, and my gfs mother was walkin in the kitchen, her projected double, and the grandma saw it. so i guess they have a long line of projectors lol. i might be the first one in my family...lol.
what is that 3d blackness you're talking about? my gf said that when she sat up, she wasn't in her room...she was in a different room. and she saw some odd blue light, some slanted metal bar...and on one side it was one color and the other side it was a different color. one side was lighter than the other. well..yea.. that's all. |

It is fairly common for people that live together (and specifically sleep together) to cause the other to project. There is another poster here that used to get pulled out of his body when his brother projected. His brother didn't do it on purpose, it's just an energetic pull, I suppose- I believe Aunt Clair calls it Alchemical Contagion- you work on your ebody and your gf gets some of it too.
Maybe she can pull you out! |

I find not looking at the back of your eyes a very difficult thing to pull off as well.
I've had some mild success in overcoming this by trying to look beyond by closed eyelids. Kind of trying to push forward past them. Trying to bounce my vision forward past my eyes, then back behind them sometimes helps. Like a pendulum, pushing a little further each time. I need to work on that more. |

Well, my girlfriend says taht she looks through her minds eye, like she opens her minds eye and doesn't look at the "shapes" in the back of her eyelids. i found out what she meant today by doin that. it takes focus and concentration, but it's possible.
everybody does it, it's just a matter of controlling it....just like projection..haha. |

bgrimm,
It may be helpful to imagine what your girlfriend is trying to explain as a total relaxation of all the eye muscles so that they do not focus or function at all and go back to their natural 'center' position, with a corresponding 'disappearing' feeling. Some would probably call that state focus 10, "...the ten state." I feel that time spent in that state is very healthy for the human body. I have heard that there is a mantra meditation called something like "no eyes, no ears, no nose, no head," that expands the sensation to the whole head. It's a background vocal line on one of the Tekken games too, I believe. Yes, I've spent far too much time playing video games over my life, but I'm taking a break from it for now, not that there's anything wrong with a good video game, mind you. By the way, there's a guy running around here somewhere named Cal who knows more about the eye thing than I do whose been talking about tmanipulating the eyes lately. Here's the link, called "I've achieved full control of my eyes, anyone got info?" if you're interested, but be prepared to concentrate! http://forums.astraldynamics.com/viewto ... highlight= |
