Default First time OBE 3 times in a row...
I think I had 3 OBE's last night.

I was sleeping on my cousin's couch in Mississippi. After a while reading I settled back dosing off to sleep. I couldn't help but realise how incredibly comfortable and soft the couch was and I quickly went to sleep. But I was also awake. (Mind awake body asleep. The first step for any OBE.) My body was heavy and paralyzed but there was a deep thumping that seemed to rock my body. It was like the sound of my heart beat had magnified ten fold. I swear it was like my brain and my heart had suddenly switched placed and was now beating between my ears. Perhaps my center of awareness centered on my heart center for some reason. I was somewhat excited which I immediately had the mind to calm down and keep my focus. The sensations were astonishing and I think I could begin to see the hints of energy flowing around me. After a short while of languishing in the sensations of, seemingly, siting in my body, which I began to have the distinct feeling that, although I was in my body, there seemed to be almost a hollowness to it in which I resided. It was the weirdest thing to experience this thing that was my body lying there snoring but at the same time lying in it as if a corpse in a coffin. Yes I snore.

When I attempted to leave my body I made myself float out by moving my energy the same way I move energy in my body. This actually worked a little bit because I could feel myself exiting my body weightless. I was completely blind but I knew it was working. The more i moved out of my body the quieter the heartbeat got until I couldn't hear it anymore and I could not feel the physical me anymore. But some part of me was still weighted down so I slid back into my body and woke up.

Again I kept myself calm knowing that if I freaked out in celebration I would 1, wake up my family and freak them out and 2, it would be a guarantee of not having any chance of it happening again that night. I knew I was in the perfect state of mind. Completely aware and also extremely relaxed. I snuggled into the soft pillow and quickly lapsed back into sleep and with full awareness. I'd done it again. This was great! This time I did something different I let myself sink into the ground. As I sank lower and lower it got darker and darker until I was in utter and complete darkness. Then I must have snapped back into my body because I jolted awake.

Still keeping calm and relaxed I actually managed to laps into the mind awake body asleep for a third time. I kept telling myself to save the celebrating for latter. This time I decided to ask for help. I thought to myself hoping some entity would pick it up, and asked for someone to help me leave my body. Pull me out, do something. And I think it actually worked because just before I completely lost consciousness I felt a strange pulling sensation. I can't remember anything after that.

Well I've provided as detailed a description of my experience as I can. What is your opinion on my experience? What was it that made me all of a sudden have almost 3 OBE's in a row when I have never had one before?

I am so syked right now I'm bouncing off the walls.

Yaaaay Scott! Great presence of mind. Excellent work *gold star*

I'd say your energy work plus your reading is paying off! There could be something else going on lately too. I've had flying dreams and stuff happening.

Great job, Scott.
As to why you had multiple OBEs, my guess would be that you kept them short, so still had 'takeoff energy' to do it again. When I oversleep I tend to have those multiple projections, and I think it's because my body is more like 'stuck in' that MABA state, so it makes it more likely. Of course then actually waking up is a lot harder. But I'm just guessing here.
Like BeeK said, sometimes I think there may be an environmental cause (warning: big guess), like gamma waves or we're going through some sort of 'neutrino shower' or something (science peoplelease don't flock to tell me about my flawed physics, I'm just pulling a term out of the air to try to illustrate here) that may facilitate this.
This time I did something different I let myself sink into the ground. As I sank lower and lower it got darker and darker until I was in utter and complete darkness. Then I must have snapped back into my body because I jolted awake.
Did you find it distasteful? I did it once and once I started sinking into the ground I was immediately repelled by it and shot up again, waking me up.

No not at all. It was rather peaceful actually. I was only there for a short time. It was astonishing just how dark it was. It made the darkness of my closed eyes in a dark room like staring into the sun, it was that dark. also there was no temperature at all, not hot or cold. Nothing. But like I said I wasn't scared of it. Didn't think much of it at all really. It just WAS. Then I snapped back. I think I actually had an experience with the void. All there was was me and I was fine with it.

Congrats... No going back now... 1st hand knowledge of these matters can really send one spinning... my advise,,, (if you don't already do so) make sure you keep a journal of events... write them down... Welcome to the club... also... Cluster activity is common... Multiple exits and returns happen from time to time... happened on your first conscience exit projection... fun... also... congrats on not having too much trouble with the 'fear/panic' element of this experience... hopefully you never will... GOOD ON YA...
