Had two circles of protection up. As you'll recall I swallowed some kind of spirit a few days ago. The day after that I buried apples for Halloween. A little early, but I'll be busy all Halloween weekend.
After much MUCH family drama that finally settled greatly in my favor I was finally able to dream again. (Due to the stress I know I had been out and flying around, but unable to remember. I would just wake up having not dreamed and knowing I must have been out.) So, I wake up with astral eyes, and see what appears to be - and I kid you not - POMEGRANATE SEEDS with legs walking around my blanket. Two of them. They kind of looked like a couple of ants, but only because they were red and walking around. But they were pomegranate seeds alright. I was like ??? That's all I have to report. I almost didn't post this. |

I immediately thought of how Persephone ate of the pomegranate seeds in the land of the Dead. Wasn't sure how to take it, or what it might mean. From what angle to look at that from. Good or bad?
But then, with a little digging, I found it gets much better. "The name pomegranate means 'to give birth' and with its red juice and seeds was a prime symbol of uterine fertility. Therefore pomegranates were eaten by souls in the underworld to bring about rebirth." I will take this as a sign that my apple burial thing accomplished what I was hoping for. I don't want to run out ahead of myself though. I don't know for sure. But it looks like a positive sign. |

the first one a yellow gecko I wake up theres a gecko on the wall it walks a little towards the left as if looking for the correct spot then it looks straight turns upright and does a vertical leap right in my mouth all while scratching and it lands stright in my mouth- The second one was a large Red L shaped Pincher bug -With the front end upright it was walking a doted line on the wall then it jumped right for me I think I avoided these one because I immediately jumped OUT OF OF BED. the thing that tripped me out the most was when i told my mom about the yellow geckos she told me she had seen it that morning in the garden along with its partner |

Okay, Gnome, I'm here for you buddy. First thing that has taken me YEARS to figure out is that NO MATTER HOW RANDOM AND WEIRD these things seem, the always, always, always MEAN SOMETHING.
First thing you need to do is hit google, or get some good books on symbolism to look up everything you see, and start hunting for connections. It's like a puzzle. You find a couple matching pieces, and then a couple more that link to that. Let me get you started in your investigation. Gecko = Salamander = Fire Elemental. Mouth = Throat Chakra. Yellow = "happiness, confidence, attraction, charm, intellect, divination, study, optimism and persuasion." Your Pincher bug could be a Scarab. Red = "passion, love, fertility, health, courage, will power, magnetism, and anger." That's enough to get you started. I had a whole astral-spider problem a while back. Damn things were evil. (Not all astral spiders, but mine. Apparently there is a blue variety that is quite helpful.) You might need to start drawing a protective circle before going to bed. I now put up two because they'll often wait just outside the first one looking for a way in. If it can make it past your circle it doesn't have malicious intent. Consent is a big deal in the astral especially with the intelligent creatures. me 2 why does this happen ??? its been twice |

I recently read in a small volume on projection and related issues ("Etheric Anatomy" by Victor and Cora Anderson) that there are two aspects of the energy body that can heavily influence the projection - if one of them projects, you don't remember, if the other one projects, you get extremely symbological and hard-to-understand experiences. If both aspects project in unity, you get vivid, remembered and understandable OBEs.

They speak of three bodies - alpha, beta and gamma - animal, human/emotional? and spirit, IIRC. Depending on which body (all energetic) is "in charge" of an etheric perception or projection different perceptions and understandings follow.
Since the gamma body is your connection to spirit and Higher Self, it seems like projecting through that aspect would give you direct understanding and accurate perception, but only combining it with the human aspect gives you the full, vivid memory. The book is a bit smallish, and braggish IMO, too, but this explanation made sense to me. I mean - in my personal opinion all these symbolic experiences just take place because we have not integrated the aspect of our mind that could make sense of the underlying message directly. Look at Monroe - his first book is full of almost non-sensical symbolism. A decade later this second book - different mind, clear writing. I think we could go beyond interpreting the symbols and perceive things directly and accurately. As long as our mind cannot understand what it sees it delivers symbols that seem somehow to indicate what is meant. Oliver |

I had an experience that sounds like what you're describing, where my conscious mind somehow woke up, turned around and watched my subconscious mind have a dream. My dreaming mind had NO IDEA it was even being watched.
When I woke up I remembered the dream and knew exactly what it meant. Now if I could just figure out how to do that all the time... Meanwhile, my higher self is so sharp and quick it takes me a full minute to figure out what she just said, even as she explains it. I'm like "Huh? ... ... ... Oooh!" |

In this case, I can relate very much to what you mean.
See, I started having dreams where suddenly I would hear my wife commenting on them while dreaming. I heard her voice, and she remembered - kind of. Then it got even weirder - in one dream I suddenly awoke from the dream level because I realised that on a different level we were commenting on my dream while it was ongoing. My awareness switched from dream to this telepathic "channel" and I could shout "We're talking! In a dream!" before suddenly a loud metallic and then electrically buzzing noise arose and awoke. Later on Mishell said that such noises can be a voice from a higher vibration trying to talk to you. All these experiences were extremely interesting - perceiving parts of our minds observing other parts of my mind experiencing a dream - that certainly was something. Oliver |
