Default Another dead relative stops by.
Despite having no interest whatever in talking to the dead, I've had another visitor. And just like last time, it was no one I cared to hear from. My Great Aunt. We were never close.

She ...it was like she was trying to win me over. That she was a good person who had really loved me. And to forgive her her faults.

She kept trying to press the point that I was not all alone and that she had been there for me when she was alive. The best way she knew how. Which I guess was true. Also that she knew "what was going on" and wanted to be there for me.

She reminded me about a white bible she had given me. I had forgot all about it. I don't even know who has it now. But to her, that was proof that she really cared. "Remember the Bible I gave you?" She was like "You had me. I was there for you. And I'm still here for you."

I gotta say I'm surprised. This woman was not particularly warm, because she was so busy trying to set the Perfect Example. But it gives me some perspective to what was going on in her head. I see what she was trying to do now, and what our relationship meant to her.

She was trying to be my female role model, because she knew I didn't have one.

This is the kind of thing mediums say often about deceased relatives. They finally understand their actual impact as opposed to their perceived impact.

Since Aunty Alice let me know of her passing at 4.44 am, I keep seeing 4.44 and everytime I do I say, "Hi Alice," and send her a wave.
