I'm not telepathic, far from it. But I had an experience that makes me wonder what I do have in the way of senses.

I was thinking about making a blanket for someone, and I thought "purple". I got the sense purple was this person's color.

Then I find out it is a favorite color of this person.

What... this isn't telepathy or empathy or anything, I'm confused. I'm wondering what to classify it as. I just got a feeling, a knowledge. What?

Can anybody put a label on what this is? Cause I have it, but I don't know what it is. I'd like to be able to control/use it, but I'm wondering what is it.

Intuition?

Intuition is an inner working that puts together all the clues a person has about another, be they physical or telepathical, and makes connections about these clues in the subconscious mind and then exposes that knowledge to the conscious mind.

Or so I think.

While its likely that you used a definable method which has a label, this kind of information can be obtained in many ways which are hard to distinguish. It could be telepath, remote viewing, knowing, coincidence, faulty memory, intuition, divine intervention, creating, ...

Several of those have well established methods for development, some don't. One might argue that faulty memory needs fixed more than 'developed'.

I would not be so concerned about a label, if you need one role some dice and pick from the above list.

Until you learn more or have someone there to catch it when it happens again, I would suggest a blanket approach. Simply try to do it again. Pick little things and see if you are right. For instance, everywhere you go where you meet people, wonder what their favorite color is. If wondering produces an 'answer' ask them.

I would suggest if you have astral dynamics to read the part about the astral wind and akashic pulse. I have had much intuition in the past and never had a real way of explaining it. That section really enlightened me on this. I believe it is the same phenomanon that causes precognitions, and deja vu.
