I'm having a experience with astral "noise". I say "noise" with quotes because I cannot hear on the astral, yet I can "hear without hearing"- mentally "know" the sounds.
The "noise" I am most worried about is the "static noise" I feel and mentally hear astrally. This has been going on since before I was on the forum. Does anybody else feel or hear this? This is while I am perfectly awake and only when I am attentive to it. I also have a sensation of a rushing river when I am panicked or stressed and feel I am holding myself against something's current as I am tensed. This is subconscious, but I realize it afterwards. This has also been going on WAY before the forum. Confuzzling stuff. |

The sounds we hear (rushing, whooshing noises, electric noises, voices (often tinny or high pitched), cracks, rattles, machinelike noises) are usually heard in the in-between state, in the pre-exit state. Once in the Astral 'proper' it seems to me that communication is done telepathically. Is this what you mean?
Also, I always hear what I call 'ear hiss' which is staticky, and that is always on. It's just more noticeable at night or in a really quiet situation. I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, though. Sometimes I dream of music, and when I wake up the music is my interpretation of the ear hiss that is always there, but magnified and 'orchestrated'. I'm not sure if this applies, but I guessed I'd just throw it in here. |

Yes. It's actually caused by the tiny hairs in the inside of our ears. The hairs are microscopic in size, and change polarities when they get vibrated by sound. When there is no sound (no loud enough sound, anyway) the hairs sit there with electrons 'just standing by'. It is my idea that the 'standby' electrons are what are forming the staticky noise- white noise, in fact. If you notice, when there's a storm coming, and the air pressure changes, the noise will radically change.
It is my theory (theory only) that these electrons should vary their response also by brainwaves and other, perhaps telepathic stimuli also, explaining why some people change variation in tones when others think about them, or hear hypnagogics. Perhaps astral entities excite these electrons with their fields and you can hear voices that 'sound tinny' and such. I'd suppose some radio waves would also cause a response, though that would be more complicated, considering modulation and all that. Of course, these are all theories that go through my head when I'm bored. |
