I was meditating this arvo, in my hard backed chair, and was deepening my lvl of trance, "no sp yet" and i felt energy sensations as i raised energy, after a few seconds of doing this my heart started getting faster and faster, untill it was beating at an impossible rate, i tryed sitting up and my whole body moved pysically i felt my heart and it was raceing, why would my real heart beat fast? was this a fake exit symtonm? oh gosh..

Now i am no newb to obe, i have projected alot spontaniosly, and have experienced rapid heart beat 6 times now in my projection attempts from wakeing state and vibrations aswell, but this time i when i stoped my pysical heart was beating quite fast aswell, oh dear, i have no health problems ect.. nor fear, was i experienceing heart center activitys at all? now i am worried if i always expereince this and its got nothing todo with obe :O

It is likely that it was NOT your heart beating, but the energy center located there. There is a chakra located where your heart is, and it is very active during the pre-projection process. Most people mistake this for a rapid heart beat, and even if you feel it pulsing by putting your hand on your chest, it is very LOW probability that this was actually your heart beating. Don't worry, and try to keep calm when it happens. The same thing happens to me. It's normal.

Yes i must agree with you, you really have put my mind at ease, i meen i was breathing fine ect.. and it was about the time i normaly feel exit sensations, during a wake induced obe, i now feel very sleepy lol, thats what i dont like bout afternoon meditation and projection attempts, your tired till you have a shower or eat dinner lol.

I am going to make another attempt tonight and tommoro early in the morning, i am going to my friends house, emochris of this forum and were going to try and both get out and travel together in the RTZ.

The past 8 times i have tryed projecting from the wakeing state i have gotten rapid heart beat and vibrations, but just cant seem to exit, ill be sitting there have the sensations and nothing happends.

I guess ill keep trying
