Default effects of jewellery?
I'd be grateful fo any comments as to whether the wearing of a silver "Om" and a string of "guru" beads made of tulasi wood could adversely affect my attempts to achieve astral projection? I know one is advised to remove all jewellery, but I wear these items always & have done so for years. . . . . . I have been out of body a few times, but never with full control.

Namaste & many thanks!

Hi Sono,

The conventional response is that metal jewellery interferes with projection. If, however, you have discovered that you can project wearing jewellery then you've proven for yourself that it's okay to do so.

Novice OBEers (and I include myself in this category) often experience trouble with control whether they wear jewellery or not. If you suspect jewellery is the reason then all you can do is experiment.

Really? I wear a silver Pentegram necklace all the time. Maybe this is not helping me have a conscious exit projection? Though I have had two, but not for awhile, I'm really struggling, gonna try without tonight see what happens...

You know, I'd forgotten about removing jewellry. So that means you ought to remove your wedding ring? That sucks - I'm so likely to lose it if I take it off

I never remove mine but I still project once in awhile. I guess I could remove it with soap and water but it's easier to leave it on.
