i have a strange question. alot of times when im trying to go to sleep, i feel a strong vibrating and electrical surge going through my whole body. i hear a strong electrical noise. i can still move though, but the more i move, the more the sensations lower and eventually go away. for some reason now, as soon as the symptoms completely go away, i can see through my eyelids and alot of times i see a really clean but quiet room with white walls. one night i opened my eyes and everything was normal, but as soon as i closed them, the room was still there. its as if someone taped a picture to the insides of my eyelids. in the room i can make out a counter, some furniture, and some other accesories but if i try to study the details, the image starts to quickly fade. and when i stop studying the details, the image comes back quickly. this only happens after i almost have an OBE. my OBE technique is very strange. i have a dream, and something frightening, sad, or scary happens (anything that causes strong emotion) and then all of a sudden the dream stops, im concious, and my astral body (or my energy body?) gets very excited and starts pulsating with energy. and then right after i always see shadowy images. i was wondering if anyone experienced something like this? the next time this happens, im going to try to focus on a certain location and see if i can "see" the area.

These are the precursors of an OBE

This could be remote viewing/clairvoyance but you could also be seeing into an astral plane. I suggest you read what you can on phasing. my OBE technique is very strange. i have a dream, and something frightening, sad, or scary happens (anything that causes strong emotion) and then all of a sudden the dream stops, im concious, and my astral body (or my energy body?) gets very excited and starts pulsating with energy. and then right after i always see shadowy images. I feel you're in the mind awake, body asleep position and conditions are ideal for projection. |

I find during this i cant sleep for a very long time also and thats really annoying when youve got to go to work in lil' while. it used to scare me to death years ago when it first started happening, not because i could see through my eyelids or because of vibrations but because at night i would see things flying through my room and i'd try to close my eyes to get rid of it and i can see right through my eyelids! it got to the point where i would sleep with my arm slung over my forehead to try and muffle it. that worked but it ended up hurting my shoulder after doing it for so long(years). p.s. i refuse to sleep like that now but try it some time if you have a hangover/headache, it can help.
