Default Trance Meditation for OBE- tips?
I've been having some trouble getting past the day dream state for a trance, I usually just fall asleep. I'm aware that it's best to do this in the morning when you're fully rested, but I have a habit of doing energy work later at night. Course it would be simple to point out that I can change my habit, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to offer for this situation. Perhaps drinking coffee or tea before doing so?

Well, in my experience, trying to meditate while I feel the slightest bit sleepy, always ends with me snoozing . I try to meditate before late afternoon, that way I'm still rested. I'm not sure if taking in caffeine would be wise for this process because depending on it affects you, you may be unable to clear your mind of bubbling thoughts. Caffeine makes me hyper so that'd be a no. I wish I could help more, but I hope i was able to help you out a little bit

When i just started i could never fall asleep during the meditation, probably because i was so excited (that's not too good either btw) but lately i was struggling with that... I tend to do energy work prior to meditation and if you merge those 2 (do energy work in trance state and then without stadning up try to phase out) is not a good combo. Right now i'm planning on taking a rest for a while and practice mind clearing alone for a while... Because the reason we fall asleep is due to some random thought that absorbs your awareness.
