hello guys, i was wondering if one could induce an OBE while full concious in other words inducing it in an instand....
i mean the quickest i have heard is like 2-3 minutes but thats like you relax ur body etc and while eyes close... By eyes open i dont mean by having awareness on both sides but causing it in an instant. ...

I'm pretty sure if ur spirit is fragmented you can have a constant obe without needing to meditate.

If I have sufficient energy, I can do my own form of OBE in well under a minute. Similar can be said for psychic sight. Note this is not NEW or any kind of Astral Travel (more like phasing). I always do this while fully awake. Usually I like to OBE with high energy in order to get the best awareness (full visuals, etc). Usually that takes ~20 minutes for enough power. The exit technique is always quick.

No, he's talking about phasing, the technique that Robert Monroe studied extensively. (It can be likened to Remote Viewing.) There is a thread that explains it here.

As to practice and instant OBE, everyone is different, and some people can 'pop out' with more ease than others.
One of our moderators (not me. lol) had an experience when she started doing NEW in which part of her astral body stayed out-of body in waking reality for hours. It was very disturbing for her, as you can imagine.
